GWF Show 18 (February 2076)
Live: Deimos Intergalactic Arena
The GWF fans are here in droves, ready to see their favorite wrestlers fight inside the Deimos Intergalactic Arena. Especially Dorado Sundown, who were having their last GWF match on this night.
Carson P. Century (2) & Ricken Prince d. Crosscurrents (Thetis (4) & Vortex) via DQ (outside interference via pin save) 1.5*
In this back and forth tag team match, the Crosscurrents were constantly put on the back foot by the classical Carson P. Century with Ricken even getting in some good shots of his own, including the BOW TO THE PRINCE. While the Crosscurrents constantly fought back, when Ricken hit the ROYAL DECREE on Thetis, Vortex came in and caused a huge riot, with him and Vortex hitting the WATERY GRAVE on Ricken. However, the referee thought this was against the rules and disqualified the Crosscurrents.
Blood (1) d. Torpor via Submission (SCAR TISSUE) .5*
It was a surprisingly back and forth battle between the two wrestlers, with Torpor learning to outmaneuver Blood when being thrown into the turnbuckle. He didn’t capitalize with anything big, however, except for a pin attempt. Blood would fight back and eventually lock in the SCAR TISSUE to win the match.
Cordsar d. Commander Sam via Submission (MENSAN LOCK) DUD
Commander Sam attempted a snap mare, but Cordsar countered with a thrust kick to the knee. Afterwards, he would lock in the MENSAN LOCK, forcing Sam to tap out.
#1 Contenders match
Paladin Power (Moonstrike & Solar Flare) d. Screw & Santon the Loner via DQ (out of the ring brawl) DUD
Screw looked to have the advantage early, working over Moonstrike with a series of vicious attacks. However, after a press slam, Moonstrike left the ring where Screw followed. A brawl would erupt, and the referee would see Screw go for some vicious tactics and decide to disqualify him and Santon.
Jammer (1) d. K.O. Keller (4) via Submission (BAD NIGHT) 2.5*
It was Keller’s match at first, even hitting the K.O. Heart Punch, but Jammer would find an opening to fight back after exiting the ring. From there, Jammer would keep control, locking in the BAD NIGHT multiple times until finally forcing Keller to submit.
Non-Title
Torin Caelum d. Trotarus (1) via Submission (CAELUM’S GRIP) .5*
This was a one sided match as Torin hit a running bulldog before locking in the CAELUM’S GRIP. While Trotarus did fight out of it, resistance was futile as Torin would lock in the CAELUM’S GRIP a second time to force Trotarus to submit.
2 out of 3 falls
Fall 1
Blacklash starts working on Morpheus a bit until Morpheus finds an opening and somehow hits a Deathjump on Blacklash before tagging in Omega. The former champ would proceed to go to town on Blacklash with multiple TOMAHAWK THRUSTS, with Bullwhip forced to make the save on two of them. Blacklash would be put on the back foot until finding a tag to Bullwhip. Bullwhip tried to fight back, but Omega was too fast for Bullwhip, eventually hitting one final TOMAHAWK THRUST to pin Bullwhip.
Fall 2
Omega continues to try to beat down on Bullwhip, but the bigger Dorado native was not having any of it, fighting back constantly until getting the tag to Blacklash, who then proceeded to win an out of the ring brawl and tag in Bullwhip to hit the RUSTLER’S STAMPEDE on Omega to get the second fall.
Fall 3
Omega gets put on the back foot for a bit until he fights back before tagging in Morpheus. Dorado Sundown did not let up for a second, going for whatever they could, trying to get Morpheus down. Eventually, they do, and they capitalize. Blacklash tagged in, hitting multiple Deathjumps before tagging in Bullwhip to hit the RUSTLER’S STAMPEDE on Morpheus. Omega tried to make the save, but Blacklash made sure Omega could not get to him in time, allowing Bullwhip to pin Morpheus.
Dorado Sundown (Blacklash (5) & Bullwhip (1)) d. The Guardians (Omega (2) & Morpheus (5)) via Pinfall (RUSTLER’S STAMPEDE) 3.25*
After the match, Dorado Sundown celebrated their win for a little bit until Omega and Morpheus got back up. After a little bit of a stare down between the two teams, Omega and Morpheus offered their hands to the victors. After a bit of thinking, Dorado Sundown shake the hands of their rivals before the Guardians raised their hands up. After a bit of celebration, The Guardians left the ring to let Dorado Sundown do whatever. The winning team grab a microphone.
Blacklash: “Deimos, what you witnessed, was one of the greatest matches we’ve had in our lives. Tusslin’ between the best of the best, and after a year and a half, Dorado Sundown finally stand tall!”
The crowd claps for the winning team.
Blacklash: “Now I know some people out there are gonna say that we’re gonna go on to take over the GWF after finally defeating the top guys. However, that’s not gonna be the case. Last month, we said that this was our last match in the GWF, and it will be. So we’re gonna head to the planet of Dorado, get on our horses, and ride off into the sunset. But before we do, I just wanna say, thank you to the GWF for givin’ us this chance, and thank you Omega and Morpheus for bein’ such great people. Most importantly, thank you all, for bein’ here since the beginning of the GWF, and for stickin’ with us through thick and thin. Give yourselves a round of applause!”
Bullwhip grabs the microphone after a bit with the crowd clapping.
Bullwhip: “Deimos, we hope that you’ll remember the name, Dorado Sundown. Because we’ll hope to remember all of you until we die. This is not goodbye, but farewell for now.”
Bullwhip puts the microphone down as well as his hat before the duo walk to the back together. The cameras then proceed to fade to black.
