Moondogs vs The Killer Bees James Beard is our referee. Blair and Moondog Spot start. The bell rings, Spot storms Blair with clubbing forearms, then running knee smash, pin! (p4r4) Moondogs advance! The crowd is left stunned!!! Winners, and advancing: The Moondogs Note: Don't try to save those PIN SAVES for later... I'm curious how others use PIN SAVES. I've only been playing for just under 4 months and my "policy" now is to use them when the Pin number is 4 or greater since that's a 1-in-6 chance for the pin, as I had a few matches end early like this one when I started playing and I was holding them for greater probabiliies.

Good question, I hope others chime in. I usually use pin saves early, in this case, I thought maybe it would help the match if I banked one for later. Definitely as the player, a choice that I made, but I always stay true to the dice.

Even though it's in direct opposition to the actual rules, I don't roll for Pin Saves or Outside Interference until AFTER a wrestler has been successfully pinned... My reasoning is that I want to give the dice (who I consider my bookers) as much control over what happens as possible... A tough decision taken out of my hands! YES!

The decision is tough and I'm not sure there's ever going to be a perfect or realistic way to pull it off so do what feels right and don't worry about it afterwards.

Don Kernodle and Sgt. Slaughter vs Terry Gordy and Steve Williams
Joey Marella draws the assignment. Gordy and Slaughter will start off. Slaughter takes over early, and hits a gutbuster for a pin attempt (p2r8) Slaughter weakens Gordy by fighting out of the ring several times, COBRA CLUTCH! Williams gets cut off by Kernodle, (p6r8) but is able to escape the submission. Gordy in big trouble, but ale to successfully tag out to Williams.
Slaughter hits another gutbuster, and COBRA CLUTCH now on Williams! Gordy able to get in and break the submission maneuver up. Slaughter Cannon outside of the ring, back in the ring, COBRA CLUTCH again! (p9r3) Willams taps! He submits!
Winners, and advancing: Sgt. Slaughter and Don Kernodle
*Note* Kernodle is just a bystander, Slaughter did all the lifting, and dang, his offense is potent.

A +3 finisher always helps. For me Kernodle does a lot of the work. Nice upset.

I do the same thing unless the match has already gone on for too long.

Road Warriors vs The James Gang
Joey Marella is the official for this match. BG James and Animal start off for their respective teams. Power Slam by Animal early on, Animal goes for a quick pin (p2r5) Later, BG reverses out of a move, and catches Animal with a DDT followed with a pin fall that Animal kicks out of easily (p3r11). BG follows that up immediately with another DDT and a pin attempt (p4r8) that Animal kicks out of.
BG follows that with PUMPHANDLE SLAM (p6r9). Animal kicks out! Animal is able to escape to the outside of the ring, where he grabs BG's leg, and smashes it into the ring post. Soon after, Animal sets BG up for a top rope super plex, but BG pushes Animal off the top rope! Animal is able to finally tag in Hawk.
Hawk battles back with plenty of offense. Road Warriors connect on a double clothesline, which makes Animal the now legal man. Animal pins (p4r7) but BG able to kick out. DOOMSDAY DEVICE!!! Animal goes for the pin, but now everyone is in the ring brawling, Marella will not call for the DQ, but James Gang gets the best of the brawl.
PUMP HANDLE SLAM on Animal, Hawk breaks up the pin, but BG is able to tag KIP in. Soon after, STANDING LEG DROP by Kip!!! Hawk is cut off by BG! (p8r6) The James Gang wins!!!
Winners, and advancing: The James Gang
