Could never get a proper feel of the smaller dice in my big clumsy paws. I also recently moved to a small dice tower, which I feel helps keep a good flow for the match (and keeps the dice in front of me).

For 20 years, I have only ever played this game with the itsy bitsy teensie weensie dice. I am shocked, shocked I say, by the number of dice disloyalists in this fair community! 😮

I've used big dice, one red & one white, for years because the small red & blue ones kept rolling under furniture that was a pain in the butt to get to. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

The 5mm dice that come with the game are way too small for me to read, and I would probably lose them if I attempted to use them for long. For a long time, I used my old 16mm dice that I had left over from my D&D days, and they served me well. Then I took a pretty long break from playing this game and was addicted to another game that used 12mm dice and then when I came back to Filsinger I found that the 16's felt too bulky to me, so I ordered a bunch of 12's and that is all that I use at this point. If anyone is interested, here is a site that explains the differences in sizes and allows you to order whatever size you want. I found them quick, reliable, and reasonably priced. www.dicegamedepot.com/dice-sizes/

I use whatever d6s I have handy from D&D dice sets. The tiny dice lasted about a week.

Like you, my clumsy paws never took well to rolling the small dice. I also use a collapsible dice tray to reduce the number of times I roll a die off the table.

I use the small dice. I quite like them.
I wouldn't be against using other dice, I've just never had a reason to.

Virtual dice only! They're always EXACTLY where I expect to find them. TRUTH!

And they're just as if not more evil than physical dice.
