I've gone back and forth on this rule so many times that I decided to make it easy on myself... When a (tag) move is rolled in singles competition and there is no alternative already indicated on the card, I simply drop the potency of the move by one level and assume it becomes a feasible conversion of the move that could by done by an individual... SO... Finishers and -3 add 1 moves become -3 moves... -3 moves become -2 moves... And -2 moves become -1 moves... Not perfect, but I like to avoid re-rolling as often as possible.

In the end, it would probably just have been better to have made the cards the same for finishers so there wouldn't be an argument in the first place.

Here's the way I do it:
If a tag team wrestler doesn't have a singles finisher and they roll their finisher I simply substitute a different move in its place but make it a (0) in effectiveness, similar to Hawk's FLYING CLOTHESLINE (+0) being used in place of DOOMSDAY DEVICE (+4). In all of my Feds everybody competes in both singles and tag teams so I want each wrestler to have at least a fighting chance at winning.
However, if a tag wrestler has TWO tag team finishers I do knock one of them down to just a regular Level 3 move in singles action.

Not that I'm suggesting this is the 'official' rule or the best way to play, but for anyone interested... When using the online PBP simulator and a (tag) move is rolled, the wrestler rolls again on the same offensive level.

I do not see this as an argument but a discussion. I like hearing how others play the game. Besides this fits into the motto of the game, "It's up to you promoter".
