My short list but I like the prospect of a few Malenkos to the game.
Men singles: Santana, Snake and Orndorff (maybe Steamboat)
Tag teams : Wild Samoans are over due
Ladies : Madusa/Alundra Blaze is a nice add.

I like the idea of Joe Stetcher, or Wilbur Snyder, or Farmer Burns as the name tonight. Get a vintage name out right away. I assume we will have teasers up until July 14, as GCON proper will start on Friday the 21, meaning a teaser won’t be necessary as sets will be in hands. So that leaves us with teasers: Tonight (June 16), the 23rd, the 30th (possible pre order name?), the 7th (other possible preorder day), and the 14th.
That means if Boris is a reveal, we would only be getting four or five (if they have a tag team, we might only know five names before the set is released. Three surprises! That is awesome!

You know, Wilbur Snyder was a 14 time WWA tag team champion, holding the title with men such as the illustrious Spike Huber. Just sayin.
Actually, for you guys who like real life tag teams for the game, he's got like a half dozen regular partners already in.

 The next name in the Tragos and Thesz Set 4, is 2014 Inductee Wilbur Snyder. Hailing from Southern California, Snyder had aspirations of becoming a pro football player, but in the offseason parlayed his collegiate wrestling experience into the pro wrestling world. With wrestling being more lucrative he decided to switch paths and became a revolutionary force in pro wrestling. Early in his career he got to challenge Lou Thesz on more than one occasion. Although he did not win a championship those nights, he certainly won his share over the years. While he certainly earned his nickname, “The World’s Most Scientific Wrestler” with his technical skills, he would also use a number of high flying moves usually reserved for wrestlers much smaller than him. Although the move his is most known for is the Abdominal Stretch, which he will be sure to employ against other Legends in your fed. |
