Not to be confused with WaWa. This gave me a chuckle. Then today has been a productive and successful day for me.

tag partner and co-owner of the WWA. Technically their wives owned it. You couldn't have a promoters license and wrestlers license at the same time. Wild times.

I think I read one of the owners was one of their moms. But the point is the same. Not to mention they didn't want to fans to know they were running things. Especially when they had gold around their waists.

True enough though obviously they were running it. Definitely Bruiser's wife not sure about Wilbur.

Snyder is very exciting name to start off the TTHoF previews with. Very happy to have him in the game. Not over the moon for the art. He looks oddly flat to me? Not sure how else to describe it. But with these kind of vintage guys where we’re working from old black and white photos, it must be very challenging. Flat feels like the right word but I personally don't find this one as flat feeling as the Johnny Valentine piece for example. I don't mind this art and always love when the old belts are on their artwork. Love this addition to the game too!

In fairness I'm not sure how dynamic you can make artwork for Wilbur Snyder, who was a talent and a star but also maybe the most meat-and-potatoes wrestler ever.

For sure, guys from Snyder's era and before must be a profound challenge and I think they've done as good a job as can be reasonably hoped for. I will say that looking at it for a long time, I've come to the conclusion that the one part that really jumps out as "off" to me is the fingers. They are perfectly flat and perfectly smooth, and really long.... Like bugs bunny slammed them with a frying pan.

I dig the artwork. If you look at the source image, it is pretty spot on for referencing a black and white photo.
