His son, Joe, quoted that weight from early in his career. He slimmed down later in his career, but since Joe said it, it's what we're using. Works for me! Thanks for the clarification. While I have you... I noticed that on the WWE Hall of Fame page for Malenko, they described his "Russian Sickle" as a Lariat (ala Nikita), however, the booklet says it was more of a Camel Clutch... Did he do both, or did the person who wrote the WWE Bio not do his homework? I'm not going to throw the WWE under the bus, but...

Nikita Koloff made his debut in epic fashion in the UWF Greatest Big Man Tournament. The Russian Nightmare turned in match after match of great action.
Nikita battled it out with Blackjack Mulligan to start. In the second round he survived a brutal encounter with Stan Hansen. Then he met IVAN KOLOFF!!!!
The Russian Bear and the Russian Nightmare showed no mercy to each other. Nikita came away with another win!
In the winner's bracket semifinal he took on Don Leo Jonathan. This time the Gentle Giant handed Nikita his first loss, but it was by Countout.
Nikita had 4 straight really good or great matches. The first two may have been lucky wins, coming off the charts with a pin roll of 3. Ivan Koloff kept rolling his pin on lvl. 3 defense which built his pin rating up.
Nikita has all B ratings for charts. It really feels like he should have an A for either Ring or Turnbuckle.

Was Boris Malenko really 265lbs?? He wrestled more around 220-225 but that was in 1950's and 1960's weight. With inflation it is more around 265. <thumbs up>

Joe gave the weight. I'd go with what Joe said even if he wrestled lighter later.

Let me just say... Now that I have had a couple of days to look over the set, and to use a few of the cards... Well Done, Team! This is an absolutely wonderful set. It includes two of my top wants in Orndorff and Nikita, it brings a unique new card in Jim Ross, and a couple of guys that I'm enjoying learning more about with Wilbur Snyder and The Great Malenko. (Malenko is already making waves... The Iron Sheik was wondering why he couldn't find his partner Nikolai Volkoff backstage at a TV taping, and Malenko informed him that the Kremlin ordered Volkoff home in disgrace since they have failed to capture the tag-team championship. Malenko has been charged to raise the bar for Russian wrestlers in the WWF. The Iron Sheik was incensed, and it seems that a face turn may be in the works, leading to a feud between Malenko and Sheik. This is even more interesting considering Malenko uses a variation of the Camel Clutch... This will also lead to Malenko bringing in the Koloffs. Who knows who might come to the Iron Sheik's aid!) Man, I love this game!

I'm not going to throw the WWE under the bus, but... What bus is that? The Lex Express? 😄 Hmm. I wonder if it still exists. It would be fun to buy and roll around in.

I believe that youtube show they briefly had where Joey Styles toured the WWE warehouse/archives (like that Most Wanted Treasures show but on a much, much lower budget) had an episode on the most patriotic items where the archivist said all that remains of the Lex Express was the pillows from the couch.
