Bill DeMott is getting the TTHoF Thesz award, which is a community service focused award for his work with his family's anti-drunk driving foundation. ......... Very worthy of recognition. I feel like Bill DeMott got an undeserved bad reputation when he was working as a trainer for WWE. The people who succeeded under him like Luke Gallows, Brian Myers, and Matt Cardona don't have a bad word for him but the ones who failed out call him too tough and a "bully". So go figure. |

It's still odd to me that the Hall has not announced any inductees into the Hall of Fame proper yet, just recipients of the special awards of which they have added two (the Trainer award which Boris is receiving and the Jack Brisco award that's going to LOW's own Les Thatcher).

At last Uncharted Territories podcast, Chad Olson said that they were solidifying the inductee or inductees for this year. I think it is a way to grow interest, also it's a great list of award recipients and they have announced the folks that will be attending the fanfest on Saturday/Friday night at the IPW show, and it looks like a fantastic group! |

Yeah this tracks. I would assume that Boris Malenko will not be the name as preorders probably will to go like three weeks from now.

As a note, an inductee was announced earlier this morning. Gary Albright will be posthumously inducted into the Hall during TNTHOF 2023 Induction Weekend. A very deserving honoree. |

Allbright was a very good amateur wrestler, winning the Montana state championship in high school and the Big 8 conference championship for Nebraska in college. In All Japan he teamed with three different LOW roster members in World’s Strongest Tag leagues: Stan Hansen, Sabu, and Steve Williams. With Hansen and Williams he also won the AJPW tag titles. He would make a great addition to the game.
