Chapter 1:War Games
It all started at an independent wrestling show, ran by a millionaire promoter, looking to go nationwide with his product.
Match 1
Joanie Laurer and The James Gang vs The Pitbulls and Vampiro
Vampiro and Kip start off the match. Cobra Clutch Slam by Kip, with a quick pin (p2r7) Vampiro kicks out. Vampiro goes up top, and hits a top rope spin kick, but soon after, Kip tags Joanie in!
Vampiro connects on another top rope spin kick with a pin attempt on Joanie (p3r4) Vampiro tags in Pitbull #2, who connects on a spinning heel kick for a pin attempt, that BG James comes in to break up!
Pitbull #1 tagged in, The Pitbulls connect on The Guillotine! Pitbull #2 back in. Joanie fights her way back, and connects on a Press Slam! Pitbull #2 able to kick out (p3r8)
Joanie hits a sleeper slam, they fight outside the ring, Pitbull #2 slams Joanie face first into the turnbuckle post, and the ref calls for a disqualification!
Winners: Joanie Laurer and The James Gang
Post-match, BG grabs a chair to back everyone off, while Kip checks on Joanie!

Very cool. I love seeing these kinds of "career replays", and this is a novel concept. Well done!

Joanie Laurer vs Pitbull #2
Pitbull #2 takes an early advantage with a shoulder tackle, and lands a spinning heel kick for a pin attempt (p3r8) Then lands a SUPER BOMB (p5r6) and almost wins the match!
Joanie fights back, and out of the ring, tosses Pitbull #2 into the ringpost! The ref does not DQ, POWER BOMB connects (p4r4) and Joanie wins this matchup!
Post-match, Pitbull #1 joins in on a beatdown of Joanie!! The Pitbulls double team Joanie, and here comes Vampiro! The Pitbulls are holding Vampiro, as he gets ready to connect on a certain death blow, the lights go out!
Lights go back on! Killer Kowalski is in the ring! He clears the ring out, and helps Joanie to her feet! Vampiro is in disbelief ringside!

For people in LOW you might not have known Joanie faced, on her 2002 tour of Japan she was in some six-man tags against Jushin Thunder Liger.

For people in LOW you might not have known Joanie faced, on her 2002 tour of Japan she was in some six-man tags against Jushin Thunder Liger. Sounds like something we all need to be on the lookout for! |
