I have been interested in LOW but don't know what my best route is starting off. I am an old Crockett Promotions/Mid-Atlantic/NWA fan. What would be the best packages for me to begin? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to this great community! I would recommend Legends expansion 1 and 2 for the era you're interested most in. Then could buy some special edition cards, enhancement talent packs, and 2 and 4 packs to really round everything out.

This might seem obvious but start with the Starter set. If you want to have color cards then start with the color Starter set. If that is not too important I would suggest going with the OG Starter set in black and white. That one has more cards and a lower price. Either way you will have some of the biggest names from the past and most were in the feds and territories you mentioned. From there just check the lists of sets and see what interests you the most. You can see that on the store for a general idea or log into the online part to check out the info on LOW sets there which is more detailed but only for the older sets. No info for sets that came out in last few years.

Welcome Aboard:
Always great to see newcomers to the game. I just started playing myself last summer and am now fully addicted to the game.
The advice that the other people have given you so far is spot-on. I would also suggest checking out the Tragos-Thesz Hall Of Fame sets as there's some great NWA names in there such as The Briscos, Sgt. Slaughter and Don Kernodle.
If you're not opposed to using bootleg cards you could contact Will Harrison on the board here as he handles the UBU bootleg sets and they have two Jim Crockett Promotion sets which include the likes of Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Sting and a few others. Will's username is: whlineup.
You obviously don't need to purchase everything at once as that would be quite hard on the wallet. Even if you just start off with one or two sets you'll have a lot of different match-up options.
With that being said one of the sets you should buy is the starter set as that will get you the charts, dice and game instructions which the other sets don't have.
Best of luck to you and I look forward to reading the results of your Fed.🙂

Welcome!
It looks I am actually going to the Crockett Cup next month in North Carolina.
Although I recommend all of the LOW sets, in particular I would recommend for somebody like you who is a new player and also a Crockett Promotions fan:
the LOW color starter set which includes the rules and charts and many great names (including some NWA names such as Harley Race and the Road Warriors)
LOW Expansion Pack I (includes names such as Rock N' Roll Express, Midnight Express, Fantastics, Sheepherders, Terry Gordy and Steve Williams)
LOW Expansion Pack II (includes names such as Barry Windham, Magnum TA, Tully Blanchard, J.J. Dillon, Ivan Koloff, Brad Armstrong, and "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant.)

Welcome to the community! I agree with everyone who suggested Exp I & II, plus bootlegs if you want to use them. I use a few in my Feds since I wanted Ric, Arn, and the Von Erichs in my NWA Feds.
My one suggestion is to slowly build your collection, whether through purchasing or downloading bootlegs. This way you can set up your feuds and champs, and then build momentum as you add new talent. It's easy to get caught up with all of the wrestlers out there, and for a while I was adding too many new wrestlers to my Feds and they were getting lost. Now I'm pacing myself (especially since I have limited game-playing time).
