Sadly not as epic as I hoped An unfortunate side effect of running this kind of project with someone of Mr Backlund's caliber... Every match has the potential to become a virtual squash.  |

Sherri Martel put down Debbie Combs with a Top Rope Splash.
Bob Backlund caught The Destroyer off guard and won with the Rolling Backbridge. This was a fun match going back and forth. Backlund reversed out of a side to side headlock and tossed The Destroyer into the ropes before suddenly catching him with the Backbridge. Destroyer was not expecting this and referee James Beard counted three.

Jackie Fargo busted open Austin Idol before finishing him off with the Atomic Drop.
Mark Henry finally becomes the third person to defeat Bob Backlund as Backlund passed out in a bear hug. Henry was all business here and he would not let up. Backlund was busted open and finally passed out in the bear hug as Skaaland would not get involved.

Prince Kharis (with James Mitchell) pinned Paul Ellering after Ellering crashed into the turnbuckle and Kharis fell on top for the three count.
Bob Backlund and Shane Douglas had a great match but in the end, Backlund forced Douglas to submit to the Crossface Chicken Wing. This was a very good battle and Douglas had a couple near falls before Backlund locked in the Chicken Wing and forced Douglas to submit.

Yeah, Henry just stomped him. Every time Backlund got a bit of offense, Henry quickly took control back.

Bad News Brown finished off Bill Dundee with the Ghetto Blaster.
Bob Backlund forced Joe Blanchard to submit to the Boston Crab. Blanchard got a near fall off the ropes with a rollup but eventually Backlund clamped on a Boston Crab and forced Blanchard to submit.

Andre the Giant finished off Angelo Mosca with a head butt.
Bob Backlund put away Bobby Heenan with a delayed vertical suplex. Heenan managed to get his foot on the rope after two Backlund finishers but a suplex finished him off.
