My man took 3 Out of 5 straight versus Great Gama, finishing him off Crossface Chickenwing style. Just when you think he couldn't get any better - he does. Amazing stuff!

Battle of the Bruisers ends in pretty much the expected fashion... Fun though.
Really enjoyed the rematch even though I'm a little surprised the Great One relented in two straight falls... Mr Backlund is a technical wizard... Without a doubt!

It was three falls actually but he was making a nice comeback till Backlund got control on the floor.
Lots of work to do today to make sure my list of opponents is up to date and then I can figure out whose left for Backlund to face. Show will be later today and will have two separate sets.

Mark Fleming beat Doug Gilbert via disqualification after Gilbert choked Fleming on the floor with a cable.
Bob Backlund thrashed Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase with the Atomic Drop. DiBiase started all right but once Backlund gained control it was all him for the most part until he finally used the Atomic Drop to best the bloody MDM.
(0 fatigue, 1 public warning Backlund) (DiBiase 5 fatigue, 1 near countout, bloody)
(339 swings of a bat)

Joe Malenko put down Kenny Jay with his Northern Lights Suplex.
Bob Backlund thrashed Lanny Poffo with the Atomic Drop. Poffo got off to a quick start but Backlund reversed him using his strength and hit a couple quick moves before using the Atomic Drop. After the match, Curt Hennig issued Backlund a future challenge.
(0 for both)

All right, I believe I have everything updated and to make it easier for the non PP guys, I'm listing things by set other than the minisets/Con exclusives who go into an other category.

Mr Backlund appears to be on cruise control at the moment... Putting down the opposition with little effort... Forget Goldberg! WHO'S NEXT?
