Vegas losing pants? I thought that was TK's thing. Oh god, is it spreading? It this a religious thing, something they do at the Church of Churro? Well this figures. I was hoping that MAYBE I could make GCon next year but it looks like this might be the last one. Anarchy is already running wild and it is only Tuesday. What are you all doing over there, trying to film Hangover 4?

I am picturing a montage of everyone going to the airport or getting in their cars to make the trip in my mind. It is very similar to the one done in the season finale of Seinfeld. Here u go...

Tonight in downtown Omaha I went to dinner at this place called the Upstream Brewing Company. It was recommend to me by Thomas (TK). I had the best burger (made with local Omaha beef according to the bartender) that I had all year. The music there was great too as they played a song by my favorite band Social Distortion and they also played multiple Ramones songs and The Clash's song I Fought the Law. There were 3 really hot women at that bar near me tonight. If they did not all have guys with them, I would have bought them a drink. Thank you to TK for recommending that place and I look forward to seeing him tomorrow. After dinner, I went to a different bar in downtown Omaha for a drink. They have a place here called Mouth of the South which made me think of Jimmy Hart but I think it was closed. I really like Omaha. You can walk outside downtown late at night in nice weather and feel safe. The city has a cool Midwest vibe to it. I think Omaha might be my favorite new city of the year, although I really liked Providence, Rhode Island too (hard to compare though as I went to Providence at a bad time- mid 30s and pouring rain, definitely different from Las Vegas- so it was hard to enjoy the city but I liked how the downtown of one of the oldest US cities was much different than what you often see in a similar major city.) Omaha is so much better than Kansas City Kansas and their nasty churro beer. The only issue I had was my hotel room as for some reason they run the AC at full blast even though it is only in the 70s here. You need an engineering degree to work the thermometer on the wall so I had to go to the front desk and explain to them that I am from Las Vegas where it was 120 degrees last weekend and I do not need the AC running this strong at 72 degrees as it was making me very cold as I am simply not accustomed to it at this temperature. They thankfully helped me turn off the fan so I am no longer shivering in my room. I am going to watch today's NWA episode on my laptop and then get some sleep.

Sounds like Zeke was getting a jump on the pantsless part of the trip. I have never heard of churro beer, but I could have told you it would not result in anything good. Kind of like the IPA they kept trying to serve that had fruit in it rather than the Voodoo Ranger by New Belgium. That is why I am sticking with the IPA they have with no fruit or the Wisconsin brews I am bringing. Vegas, hope this pants-losing experience doesn’t make you not want those tasty Wisconsin beers I procured for you!

I will gladly drink any of the beers you are bringing from Wisconsin, you have proven to have excellent taste in beer.

Today in Omaha, I met Thomas (TK) and we went to the Beercade (the Beercade is an arcade that serves beer.) Today I also got to meet poke as he also lives here in Omaha. Poke is cool and I enjoyed hanging out with him as we all went to lunch at this really good pizza place recommended by TK. Afterward, me and TK went to the birthplace of Malcolm X. It was closed but I saw a little of the outside of the home. In the evening, me and TK went to the AAA baseball game between St. Paul and Omaha. Of the 8 or 9 AAA stadiums I have been to, I would rank Omaha's stadium among the best as it was a nice stadium. For dinner there, I had some really good smoked chicken tacos. I had a good time hanging out with TK today. Tomorrow I am riding to Waterloo with TK and Billy once Billy's plane arrives in Omaha about 12:30. I am looking forward to seeing everybody tomorrow!
