Ok so I've been wanting to share this for awhile. I know some Promoters aren't fans of how many Add 1 moves that the guys have nowadays. This is the solution I came up with some time ago and is really simple. Don't know if anybody else has ever came up with something similar and made public. Sorry to duplicate if they have.
When the wrestler on offense rolls one of his Level 3 Offensive maneuvers that are followed by 'Add 1', roll on the opponents Level 3 Defense.
If that roll is a 'hurt-2', do not Add 1. Offensive wrestler then continues as normal back on Level 2 Offense.
If that roll is a 'down-3', Add 1. Offensive wrestler then continues as normal again on Level 3 Offense.
If that roll is a PIN, Add 1 and then roll opponents PIN. Wrestler on offense either wins the match or defensive wrestler adds another fatigue token as normal (because of the pin kickout) with the Offensive wrestler rolling again on Level 3 Offense.
So basically, if the defensive wrestler rolls a hurt-2, I just ignore the Add 1. This has worked really well for me and just makes more sense to me anyhow. Simple, effective, and logical.

I have been doing this for a while because it seems weird that a wrestler would get an "Add 1" if the opponent rolls a hurt-2.

shouldn't it depend on if a wrestler is a face or a heel ? Otherwise it makes sense. Why would it matter? The move has the same affect regardless of the person delivering it being a heel, face, or neutral.

I like it. makes sense that if the opp is only hurt, or even dazed, by the move that is suppose to be an add 1 that you wouldnt add the 1... you would assume the 1 isnt added because with the opp only being hurt, or dazed, that the maneuver wasnt as strong, or hit as good as normal, thus not adding the 1.
Thanks for sharing this. Ill have to start doing it, or at least give it a try.
the only thing that should probably be taken into account is if a wrestler's add 1 move uses a weapon... in that case maybe the 1 should still be added because I dont know about you but if I get hit with a bat no matter how hard or clean the hit Im still pretty hurt by it and maybe a bit more than a regular hit without the bat. Just something to think about but it could still be thought of as maybe the bat hit the opp shoulder thus the hurt 2.
its your imagination so its ultimately up to you. =)

I like that rule, I may start that one too. I also don't do the double fatigue if PIN is rolled with an add 1. Just doesn't seem like an add 1 should have more lasting impact than a finisher. I know thats an ongoing debate though.

Gee because i thought it would have made the game more realstic. Guess i dont know what i'm talking about again. I'm just confused. If you could expain why you think it would be more realistic, maybe i can understand where you are coming from. An Impaler DDT by Edge as a heel or Edge as a face has the same effect. See where I am coming from?

I don't add 2 after a big move and pin (I look at it as it's a really strong move but doesn't use it regularly as a finisher) I still add 1 even if I roll hurt or dazed..otherwise certain guys become that much worse to be pinned (especially with guys who have a 0 or +1 finisher. Finishers are too common in matches anyways)

I know thats an ongoing debate though. Yep. And you know which side I'm on. But I like not adding 1 if hurt or dazed is the result. Let me try it next time i play. Whenever that is...
