August 8th, 2023 Tradition would like to thank the band, Saliva for tonight's oficial theme "Ladies & Gentlemen"
CHRIS HERO defeated THE AMERICAN TIGER
"It did not take long for the American Tiger's identity to be revealed as Hero ripped off the mask less than 5 minutes into the contest to reveal COLBY CORINO! The two went toe to toe in the center of the ring, Colby got to taste his own blood as Hero connected with a roaring elbow, but Corino would fight back and nearly finally get the win over his family rival with an air raid crash, but once again Hero would somehow escape before the pin.
Hero would again topple Corino this time thanks to his CYCLONE KILL Finisher!
However, this victory did not last because right after the three count, CW ANDERSON stormed into the ring and attacked Chris Hero with a vicious stiff right hand that seemingly knocked him out cold! As Corino cheered him on, Anderson applied a crossface submission and had it on for several moments until officials and security finally came to the ring stop the attack as Corino & Anderson finally left the ring and the building through the crowd!" THE HEX (Alysin Kay & Marti Belle) defeated WILLIE MACK & RICH SWANN "Great reaction for both teams from the crowd and they did not disappoint as these two battled nearly to a 20 minute time limit but it was Marti who surprised Willie via a stiff bicycle kick to the face that caught flush in jaw knocking him for a loop giving Belle the three count and victory."IS IN THE CENTER OF THE RING, WITH MICROPHONE IN HAND... "Thank you everyone for that warm welcome, and even more so thank you for the wonderful responses we have received returning with a few events starting with our anniversary show last June. I am here tonight to make a few announcements about this brand and it's exciting future moving forward....
First for those that are unaware the Tradition Championship was considered active at the start of 2009 to really 2014, the last recognized champion being Samoa Joe. Well that is about to change, I have spoken to Joe numerous times about the current state of the title and he has agreed to retire the championship, for a couple of reasons, one his work schedule and commitments to other promotions and projects outside of the ring will not permit his full attention to the title he would want to give it.
We respect and agree with his decision 100 percent to retire the title. this brings me to the future of this promotion.
It is time for Tradition to reinvent itself without forgetting its past..we will do that starting with crowning our inaugural BATTLE FOR TRADITION Champion in a 10 person Over the Top Rope Battle Royal to be held during FRONTIER WRESTLING's Labor Day event! Thank you to gabe727 for letting us be apart of his promotions event.
Our champion will indeed be a traveling champion throughout the Filsinger Board, we have been in contact with other promotions on this very board to gage the interest to have our champion be represented in their territory, more updates to come on that.
Finally not only will our champion & eventually champions travel but thier will still be a home territory as well...as we present PATH TO TRADITION..more news to come on that as well, as we move into the future, we will NOT forget our past, thank you and enjoy the rest of the show."With that SoCal Val raises the Tradition banner over the entrance way to and from the ring, as she taps it on her way to the back. ALEX KOSLOV (w/ Leyla Hirsch) defeated MATT CROSS
"A ton of history between these two throughout the years of this promotion and they have not lost a stop, going right after each other! Cross nearly had the victory after a perfect space flying tiger drop. but Leyla saved Koslov by putting his foot on the bottom rope right before the three count, Cross went outside to confront the With Russia with Love member and this gave Leylah time to toss in some brass knuckles to Koslov as the official made sure Cross was goning to get back in the ring , which he did only to get knocked out cold with brass knuckles to the head!
To add insult to inury Koslov then delivered a Soviet Strike for the three count and victory!" 4 WAY ELIMINATION MATCH
NICHOLE MATTHEWS defeated GISELE SHAW, KILLER KELLY & LEYLA HIRSCH
ORDER OF ELIMINATION
Shaw got Hirsch via an impaler DDT but before hand Ivelisse attacked Hirsch outside the ring as a bandaged Matt Cross came after Alex Koslov! Ivelisse after her attack tossed the down and out Leyla back in the ring for the easy pickings,
Kelly got tossed out of the match by the official first by smashing Nichole Matthews in the back of the knee with what looked like a tire iron, Kelly was not done as officials came down quickly and she would proceed to hit officials with the weapon! Authorities were brought to the ring and finally Kelly was escorted out of the building!
Shaw was in shock over what just transpired but after a moment a huge smile came over her as Nichole seemingly looked to be easy pickings, Shaw went to put her hurt opponent away as she set her up for what looked like a spear but Nichole was able to connect with her good leg a knee strike to the charging Shaw and fall on her opponent for the 3 count and victory...heading into the September Frontier Wrestling Labor Day Show. -END Our PATH TO TRADITION begins this September, stay tuned for updates! |

Colby dipping into the family rolodex to get some help for his battles with Chris Hero. A great win for Alex Koslov there as well

CHRIS HERO "On the path to Tradition, I got a better idea...this kind of rolls right off the tongue...how about on the path of the destruction of Colby Corino, Tradition you want to put me in a battle royal?, fine BUT you better make sure Colby Corino AND CW Anderson are in the center of that ring so I can CYCLONE KILL them both over & over & over & over, Frontier Wrestling see you this September & you better have the EMT's on stand by."
