For me, I rolled deathjump for the wrestler who rolled it instead of the opponent until I realized it's just like Into the Ropes, Turbuckle, and Out of the Ring.

At first I didn't realize the concept of "rolling up" on (c). I read "the previous offensive level" as "the offensive level you were previously at" (i.e., rolling again), not "the offensive level previous to the one you were on." I had to have that sorted out for me at my first GCon.

go Riho
For a while I thought that you only used the second number on PIN if someone rolled a finisher.

Not using choice charts the first few years I played. I forgive myself since I was just a teenager, but wish I had realized then how vital their use is.

Thanks for your memories. It's ironic because the rulebook isn't complicated but it's amazing what we missed or never read. I know many players had issues with tagging out rules as well.

At the risk of hijacking my own thread, it's a shame she has been ridiculed online. I wish she wasn't a target/posterchild for the old school vs modern wrestling debate, considering how nice she is and IMHO is a great seller and has excellent crowd connection.

I wasn't using the choice situation chart for the first few months either because there was already enough charts to consult and too much "chart checking" takes me out of the flow of the match. However, about two months ago I decided to give the chart another try and have now gotten used to using it on a permanent basis.

It took me many years before I found the original message board and learned to roll twice for DQs. I know that's not an official rule, but I was like "NO SHIT! THAT'S BRILLIANT!" LOL.

However, about two months ago I decided to give the chart another try and have now gotten used to using it on a permanent basis. I struggled a little with the charts when I first started as well. I created a one page “cheat sheet” that combined all the main charts into a single page and I found that went a long way towards helping the flow of matches

My issue is more forgetfulness on using things that are possible. So charts like the double team chart and gang interference that can add an extra dimension to certain matches often go many many months without any use
