Hello, as most, if not all, of you know or have seen, Grant posted about this wrestling game. I jumped on board and I have been loving it. This one is not for everyone, the game can play long. The game, at first, might seem complex. But this, in my opinion, is a great and fun experience.
This will, in no way, take the place of CotG. Instead, it will be in addition to my time with CotG. I enjoy both games for different reasons. I have tried over the years to play the Legends stuff, but for some reason I have never been able to really get into it. But this fills that “legends” space in my wrestling gaming.
Any ways, this will be where I will post my Fed results using this game system. Right now, I am only playing through Jim Crockett Promotions (JCP), starting January 1st, 1986. I start out using the same champions that were historically recognized on 1/1/1986. So, Ric Flair is the World Champ, the Rock n Roll Express are the World Tag Champs, Magnum TA is the United States Champ, and the World TV title is VACANT.
I also will start scheduling the shows as they historically were, but as you will quickly see, things depart from the history of what happened into my own version.
Anyways, please feel free to remark, ask questions, and reply. Soon, I will start posting my results, and I hope you all that read it will enjoy reading !!

Bart pummels Garvin’s head, also opening up the wounds on Garvin’s head…Garvin slams Bart’s head into the mat…but Bart blasts Garvin with a headbutt…And Bart sends Garvin into the turnbuckle…OH NO, the referee gets squashed in the buckles and hits the mat, the referee is out cold! Black Bart now on the 2nd buckles….the TEXAS TRASH COMPACTER to Garvin!! No referee to count…Bart makes his own count…Black Bart is celebrating like he won? He realizes that he does need the actual referee to do the count. A 2nd referee is out now to finish the match, but the original referee is back up, stumbling…and he calls for the bell!! The winner by DQ for hitting the referee…Black Bart?! Not the call that I would have gone with, as the fans are in an uproar…Garvin is questioning the call, but there is your winner by disqualification…Black Bart!!
**After the match, as Black Bart was gloating towards the fans outside the ring, Ronnie Garvin reaches through the ropes, grabs a head full of hair, and pulls Bart up on the apron…then Garvin blasts Black Bart with the KNOCK OUT PUNCH!! The Road Warriors jump in and a wild 6-man brawl explodes!! Dusty follows up with a BIONIC ELBOW DROP, before he locks Ole in the Figure Four!! The reinforced boot that Dusty wears (from his injury at the hands of Flair and the Andersons in '85) brings Ole to screaming for help…but Flair & Arn are stopped again outside the ring!! Dusty keeps the hold locked on for several minutes, as several referees are now trying to break the hold and begging Dusty to let the Figure Four go, but Dusty shakes his head “no”, and cinches it on tighter!! Ole is in extreme pain, as Dusty keeps the Figure Four locked on deep…Finally, after several more minutes, Dusty releases the hold, as Ole is laid out, his leg appearing to be mangled by Dusty’s Figure Four…Dusty delivers one more BIONIC ELBOW DROP before he and the Road Warriors leave the ring. The camera’s keep rolling as now the ring crew is tearing down the ropes to get to Ole and get him out of the ring, and the medical team is in the ring with a stretcher, as Ole is carried off the ringside where the ropes were taken down, and carried to the back, still yelling out in pain…

JCP @ Atlanta, GA - WTBS Studios, World Championship Wrestling - Saturday, 1/4/1986
**The show opens up with a clip from The Omni:
Chaos erupts immediately after the match, as Ole & Arn launch an attack on Dusty, along with Flair with the apparent intent of ending Dusty's career once and for all!! The Road Warriors jump in and a wild 6-man brawl explodes!! After several minutes, Arn and Flair are knocked into the time keeper’s table and into the ring post, leaving Ole alone with a recovered Dusty…Dusty nails Ole with the Dusty Rhodes Rolling Punches, followed up with two consecutive BIONIC ELBOWS, sending Ole crashing to the mat.
**The opening credits begin as the music plays…
**Back to the podium, Tony Schiavone and David Crockett welcomes the fans watching at home to another World Championship Wrestling. David, as usual, is nearly beside himself as the two begin to talk about the clip that opened the show. In walks JJ Dillon…
Schiavone: Here is JJ Dillon..I thought Tully Blanchard had the interview time…
Dillon: Mr. Tully Blanchard is attending to important business at the moment, and so I am out here to speak on his behalf.
Schiavone: “On his behalf”?
Dillon: That’s right, and this interview will not get anywhere if you are going to keep interrupting me. Now, Mr. Blanchard, like I said, is attending to important business, and so I am out here to address something. Mr. Blanchard is the United States Champion. Notice, I did not say “new” champion, as he never lost the match at StarrCade ‘85 back in November. As Mr. Blanchard has already established, he never said the words “I Quit”, so therefore, he never lost that match. It was a tragedy and an injustice for Magnum TA to have walked around displaying that championship belt as though he was the winner, because he never won anything that night. I have informed Mr. Blanchard that my personal attorneys are looking into a lawsuit against Jim Crockett Promotions and the NWA for damages and loss of income. That so-called “match” should never have taken place to begin with.
Crockett: So what are you trying to say, JJ? We know Tully won the US belt back, but he may not have that belt much longer as he is going to be facing Magnum for that belt…
Dillon: Listen, i have stated that Mr. Blanchard is the US Champion, and as such, he will defend the title upon agreements with the NWA Championship Committee.
Crockett: And why are you out here, where is Tully Blanchard, anyways?
Dillon: Mr. Blanchard will make an announcement regarding our business dealings when he feels like speaking about them. Just know that I am out here right now speaking on his behalf.
Crockett: Well, that doesn’t answer anything, JJ, but I am sure you already had that figured out. But what the fans are really interested in…is this question: Where is Baby Doll?
Dillon: Baby Doll? All I will say about her is that she is where she deserves to be…and that is NOT at…I am not going to give you the satisfaction of me speaking out of turn. Instead, I will simply say this: Mr. Blanchard will address all of these things at his own convenience, and as far as I am concerned, this interview is finished…
As JJ Dillon walks away, Tony Schiavone says, “So there you have it, David…” David Crockett answers, “Yeah, a lot of words without saying much of anything…”
*NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Rock n Roll Express defeat Jim Jeffers & Thunderfoot #1 with the DOUBLE DROP KICK to Jim Jeffers
**The Rock n Roll Express makes their way to the podium.
Tony Schiavone: The Rock n Roll Express…
Morton: Let me tell you something, Tony. When the Rock n Roll Express rolls into town, you can feel the electricity in the air. You can feel the tension in the air. And when the Rock n Roll Express steps into the ring with the Midnight Express, you know you feel something special is going to happen. And then it starts to, baby, it starts to get hot and the match gets moving. But then you have a little chubby geek in glasses get involved, swinging his tennis racket around. You see, Jim Cornette has a problem. And that problem is the Rock n Roll Express don’t care about him or his tennis racket. The world knows, Tony, that the Midnight Express can only win, can only beat, the Rock n Roll Express when there is someone getting into the match when they weren’t in the match. Now Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express is talking tough, talking about how they have earned a title shot for these (points to the World Tag Team Title Belts), but they ain’t earned nothing yet. The only way they earn anything is by beating me and Robert 1…2…3 without the help of Jim Cornette and his tennis racket. They want a title shot? The Rock n Roll Express is here, baby, and we ain’t going anywhere.
*NWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Denny Brown, defeats Tony Zane by pinfall after the 2nd ROPE ELBOW DROP
**The Russians, Ivan & Nikita Koloff and Krusher Kruschev, makes their way to the podium. Ivan talks about how the NWA is the greatest place for competition, but even with the great competition, the Russians continue to dominate. They are the 6-Man tag team champions, and Krusher Kruschev will soon be the NWA World TV Champion. And then there is the US Title, which will soon be around the waist of Nikita. Nikita then says that he doesn’t care who has the US Title, that it can be Magnum TA or Tully Blanchard. It does not matter, as he will destroy them both with such ease. He then calls out the Road Warriors, and especially Animal, calling them weak men….Ivan finishes the interview with a warning to Dusty Rhodes, that Nikita is more than happy to break his neck with the Russian Sickle if he chooses to get involved and help the Road Warriors.
*Ron Bass puts down Bill Tabbs by submission with the IRON CLAW
**Ron Bass, after his match, makes his way to the podium. Meeting him there is Manny Fernandez and Pez Whatley. The three talk about Jimmy Valiant being injured by Barbarian and two new goons for Paul Jones’ Army: Baron von Raschke and Teijo Khan. They say that they have formed a coalition to take the fight to Paul Jones and his army, and they intend on winning the war. Soon, Jimmy Valiant will return and that will be the end of Paul Jones and whatever army he can try to bring to the NWA.
*”Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin over Mac Jeffers with the KNOCK OUT PUNCH
**JJ Dillon & United States Champion, Tully Blanchard, make their way to the podium.
Blanchard: Shut up, David Crockett. You need to shut your mouth, too, Schiavone. I hear there are rumors being spread about me, Tully Blanchard. I am out here now to shut these rumors down. So I am going to talk, and you are going to hold that microphone still. First, I want to let everyone know that this man, JJ Dillon, is now my associate. Tully Blanchard Enterprises, Inc has held extensive interviews, and this man has far surpassed any others, and has been selected to be the Administrative Director for Tully Blanchard Enterprises, Inc. So when he is out here speaking on my behalf, it is just as though I am out here speaking. Now, everyone keeps asking me about…(with obvious disgust in his voice) Baby Doll.
David Crockett: We know about Baby Doll, Tully, we have video. And we are now going to show the video…
Blanchard: Of course you have video.
(The video is shown of Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll being interviewed by David Crockett at a recent arena show. Tully asks Baby Doll where she has been, that she is bought and paid for to be by his side at all times. Baby Doll answers that she was in Acapulco using the ticket Tully had bought her. Tully looked at her in disbelief, asking why he would buy her tickets to go to Acapulco. Baby Doll says that JJ gave her the ticket to go, that JJ said Tully wanted her to enjoy herself. JJ Dillon walks in on the interview and Baby Doll tells JJ to “tell him, JJ, tell him you gave me the ticket he bought for me…” JJ looks away, at Tully and kinda rolls his eyes. Baby Doll begins pleading with JJ to tell Tully, even grabbing the arm of his jacket. Tully quickly grabs her hand and yanks her hands away from JJ’s coat, yelling “Don’t you put your hands on him!” Tully then slaps Baby Doll, grabs her hair and pushes her onto the floor! David Crockett tries to help Baby Doll, but JJ gets between him and Tully/Baby Doll, keeping him away, telling Crockett to “mind your own business.” Tully continues to berate Baby Doll, yanking her around by her hair, when all of a sudden, Dusty Rhodes storms into the interview area and starts brawling with Tully Blanchard!! Blanchard and JJ take off, wearing revenge on Dusty. Dusty grabs the microphone, “YOU DO NOT TOUCH HER! SHE AIN’T YOURS NO MORE, SHE IS MINE! YOU DO NOT TOUCH HER!”)
Now, back to the studio…
Blanchard: What you have there is a man who doesn’t know how to mind his own business. What does he mean “she ain’t mine”? She is bought and paid for! She is only mine! But you know what…Dusty, if you want her, you can have her. I don’t need her anymore, and what she did wasn't very good to begin with.
Dillon: We will no longer be speaking about Baby Doll. In fact, do not even mention her name unless we talk about her first…
Blanchard: And you have been showing the video of Ole Anderson being injured by Dusty Rhodes. That illegal boot should be banned, and David Crockett, you know that. Dusty Rhodes should be suspended for what he did to Ole. The way I see things, there is a conspiracy to eliminate the greatest four athletes in the world, and that is the NWA World Champion, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, and myself, Tully Blanchard. Yeah, it is a conspiracy to get rid of us, the Four Horsemen, because we threaten everyone by our talents in this sport. It is only a matter of time until we hold all the gold, and that includes the NWA World TV Title and the NWA World Tag Team Titles.
Crockett: Well, you have a tough challenge still in Magnum, and I am sure he wants his US belt back…
Dillon: “His” belt back? You have that wrong, David Crockett. Mr. Blanchard never lost the US Title to begin with, so Magnum needs to take a seat and take a breather. The lack of oxygen is damaging his ability to think clearly. What you see here (points to the US Title Tully is holding on his shoulder) is the real United States Champion. And nothing Magnum can do will change that.
Blanchard: I am finished with this, let’s go JJ…
*”The Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez defeats Arn Anderson by DQ when Tully Blanchard & JJ Dillon attack Fernandez
**The beating is quick and harsh, but before much damage could be done, out to the ring charges Dusty Rhodes & Magnum TA for the save, chasing away Arn, Tully and JJ!!
**Dusty & Magnum, along with Baby Doll, makes their way to the podium…Dusty says that the truth about Baby Doll has finally been revealed, and it shows what type of a man Tully Blanchard really is. He says that Tully did the unforgivable sin, and that is to hit a woman. And he and Magnum don’t like seeing women get hit on by men. He also laughs about Ole’s injury at his hands, saying “whatever goes around will definitely come around, baby”. Magnum says that he will win back his United States Title, and that the only way Tully can defeat him is by cheating. He says he is not out here to whine about that, he is just going to give Tully Blanchard a fair warning: Magnum will take his US Title once again.
*The Barbarian w/Paul Jones defeats Art Pritts by pinfall after a powerslam into a pinning combo
**After the match, Paul Jones places his foot on the chest of Art Pritts, before smashing him in the head with his cane.
**After the commercial break, The Barbarian & Paul Jones is with Tony Schiavone at the podium. Jones tells the fans to look at the ferocity of The Barbarian. He then says they have the video of Jimmy Valiant being taken out like yesterday’s garbage. The video is shown of The Barbarian, along with Baron von Rashke & Teijo Khan attacking Jimmy Valiant, and the flying headbutts to Valiant, leaving him laid out in the ring. Jones says that his army is growing, and soon he will be the dominant force in the NWA. He says that Manny Fernandez, Pez Whatley, and Ron Bass will find out just how bad the Barbarian is…
**Jim Cornette walks out to the podium. He says that the Rock n Roll Express are trying to hide from his Midnight Express. The Midnight’s have defeated the Rock n Roll Express and now deserve a World Tag Team Title match. Cornette goes on to say that Dennis Condrey will also be wrestling in a few moments in a singles match. He says that the Rock n Roll Express are so scared of the Midnight Express, they were refusing to show up today if the Midnight’s were there as a tag team, so he agreed to have “Loverboy” Dennis wrestle a singles match. He then gives the introduction for “Loverboy” Dennis Condrey for his match…
*”Loverboy” Dennis Condrey defeats Rocky King by CO
**After the match, Cornette is back at the podium. He says that the reason Dennis decided to beat that loser, Rocky King, by CO is because Rocky King doesn’t even deserve to lose to Dennis in the ring…
*Magnum TA quickly defeats George South with the BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX
**The Road Warriors & Paul Ellering make their way to the podium…Hawk says there is a lot of talk about the big bad Russians, about how the Russians are big and scary. Hawk says that the Road Warriors are the things that makes the scary things scared, and when they get the Russians in the ring, then the Road Warriors will be the ones standing over the Russians’ carcass. Animal says that nobody is badder than the Road Warriors, and nobody is bigger than the Road Warriors. He says that Nikita has a big mouth, and when they get into the ring, he will shut Nikita’s mouth like he does with everyone else: a punch to the face. Paul Ellering adds that the Road Warriors have traveled this path of violence as just the two of them. But Dusty Rhodes is a man that shares the Warriors’ minds, and they are challenging the Russians to put their 6-Man tag team belts on the line…
*The Mulkey Brothers shock the fans and their opponents, defeating Sam Houston & Nelson Royal by a roll up pinning combo.
**Ric Flair & Arn Anderson make their way to the podium…Flair goes on a tirade about Dusty injuring Ole, and how nothing like this has ever happened in wrestling. He says that Dusty Rhodes will be dealt with if Jim Crockett doesn’t take care of the problem. Arn says that he has been saying the boot Dusty wears should be banned, that it is an unfair advantage given to Dusty Rhodes to wear it. At this point, Baby Doll walks out to the podium. Ric Flair yells at her that he is not taking her home no matter how much she is out there to beg him to, but she simply points her finger at Arn Anderson, and says: “Arn…you’re next!” This sets Flair off as he lunges for Baby Doll, but she is already away from them. Arn begins yelling about him being threatened, as Ric Flair jumps into the ring and attacks Sam Houston & Nelson Royal!! Arn Anderson quickly jumps into the ring and joins in on the attack!! After a few moments, Dusty & Magnum charges the ring for the save, sending Flair & Anderson scurrying out of the ring!!

The Koloffs begin to work over Hawk with the chain, until Dusty Rhodes & Road Warrior Animal charge the ring for the save!! Hawk recovers but is busted open across his forehead, but he tries to charge after the Koloffs, but is restrained by Animal and Dusty… **NWA TV Title Tournament Finals** (“Pistol” Pez Whatley vs. Krusher Kruschev w/Ivan Koloff) *Krusher Kruschev finally puts away Pez Whatley with the RUSSIAN SICKLE out of nowhere (KRUSHER KRUSHCHEV WINS THE NWA WORLD TV TITLE) (this match saw it all!! Ivan Koloff attacked Whatley and caused a DQ, but the NWA Representative present at the show ruled that there must be a winner, and ordered the match to continue, but with Ivan Koloff removed from the ringside area! The Russian chain was used to great effect against Whatley at one point in the match. Whatley put up one hell of a fight, but in the end, seconds under 45 minutes from the bell to start the match, Krusher Kruschev nailed Pez with a vicious RUSSIAN SICKLE out of nowhere for the pinfall and the victory) **Ivan and Nikita both make their way out to the ring to celebrate Krusher’s victory… **NWA United States Title Match** (Magnum TA w/Baby Doll vs. Tully Blanchard © w/JJ Dillon) *Magnum TA puts away Tully Blanchard with the BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX (MAGNUM TA WINS THE UNITED STATES TITLE) (Throughout the match, Tully was distracted with his former valet, Baby Doll, being out at ringside for Magnum TA. During the match, JJ Dillon got involved, hitting Magnum with a forearm, this brought Baby Doll into conflict with JJ. She punched JJ, knocking him on his back! Tully was irate, and tried to go out of the ring to go after Baby Doll, but Magnum stopped him. The match continued, then Arn Anderson came down to ringside for Tully Blanchard. The end came when Tully hit the SLINGSHOT SUPLEX on Magnum, but he kicked out just before the 3 count. JJ Dillon would eventually come out to the ring in support to Flair, and attempted to get involved several times. In answer to JJ’s presence, new US Champion, Magnum TA came out to ringside to support Dusty, at the complaints of JJ and Flair. The two would battle back and forth, with the match ending in the 60 minute time limit. By the end of the match, Ric Flair’s face was a crimson mask due to being slammed into the ring post, opening up a nasty cut across his forehead. One fan was heard saying: “When is Ric Flair NOT bleeding?”)

*Rock n Roll Express defeats Midnight Express by count out after Ricky Morton piledrove Bobby Eaton on the concrete

The RnR fought back, and the match continued, finally spilling to the outside where Ricky Morton planted Bobby Eaton with a piledriver on the floor, giving the RnR Express the win by Count Out.
