is in the hospital so if I come across as short tempered or angry it's because I'm dealing with the stress of that and trying to get this trip sorted while having phone issues. Things will calm down eventually and I'll be okay. Thanks for understanding.

Sorry to hear about your day. Hope it is not serious. You are one of the coolest, laid back cats on here so I can not see you doing that. If you did, we will understand. If there is anything I can do to help, even if be an ear to rant in let me know. I work the front desk of a hotel but as I tell guests I am like part bartender as I can listen when people need to rant. Ranting is good for the soul. Take care Troy.

Troy,
I’m sorry to hear about this and hope we as a community can provide a healthy distraction through difficult times. I lost my father when I was 10 years old and no day has been the same since he’s been gone. There are good days but also random times where I’ll get pretty sad by it.
I hope you have days in the future where you can remember to laugh and remember some good times. Be well, friend and my condolences.

Sorry to hear about this especially the timing. As sad as it may seem at least you know something was coming for close to a year. It is never easy losing a loved one, but I feel knowing it is coming is a bit easier than having it happen out of the blue. Wrap yourself up in the great memories you have of him.
