Am I the only one who would like - prefer - to see these released in Glorious Black and White? I'd buy both. Ditto. Also not to be that guy ... but I mean it'd be kinda great to get all of the recent sets (2125 through 2139) released in Glorious Black and White.

This is what I've been waiting for to jump into GWF online. I played GWF with dice up until The End storyline and then switched strictly to legends. I've tried a few times with the EC & Classic sets to restart but I think this is where I make the jump to online.

Did anyone happen to get a screenshot of the PRINCE art previewed at Galacticon?

I really don't know much about the COTG brand, but through my work at Filsinger Games I had actually known since earlier this year that the Classic years in color was (at least tentatively) planned for Quarter 4.
When I started my COTG color card fed Ring of Vega (ROV) back in late 2019 with the reimagined 2087 color cards, I called that fed thread Ring of Vega (ROV) Chapter 2 because, although I did not know for sure at that time, my guess was that the Classic years would be colorized at some point in the future. When the color Classic cards get released in December, I will start a new fed thread called Ring of Vega (ROV) Chapter 1 which will eventually cover all the years from 2074-2086.
In addition to my planned fed thread of Ring of Vega (ROV) Chapter 1 for 2074-2086, I currently have fed threads for:
Ring of Vega (ROV) Chapter 2 which currently covers the years 2087-2093 and hopefully will go up to 2124.
Ring of Vega (ROV) Chapter 3 which covered the years 2125-2135 and is now complete.
Ring of Vega (ROV) Chapter 4 which started in 2136 and is now in September 2138. I am resuming this Chapter tomorrow when I start introducing some of the 2139 cards as mystery participants in my annual Vega Warfare match.
Ring of Centra (ROC) which covers the Centra color card years of 2115 up until September 2118.
I really enjoyed playing Early Classics almost 20 years ago in my black and white card COTG fed and I am really looking forward to this set in December!

Vegas, just a note, I believe there is some overlap of at least a few months in 2087 with the classics years as guys are slowly introduced. Obviously you can make it your own to fit your timeline, but just wanted to be clear on that since I just recently wrapped up 2074-2087 early classics period!

I'm super exited about this as I've always preferred the early history of CotG. Anyone know if there are any plans to resume the reimaged sets.

Essentially I believe 2087 starts in April as the last few guys (including the greatest of all, Mimic) finally trickled out.

I did not remember at first as I have not played Early Classics since I completed it in 2005. But now I will have to manipulate the ending of the Classics Period in my fed as for my fed it will have to end at the end of 2086 as I started my 2087 fed in January 2087.

So will Omega and Morpheus be included in the set or will they most likely be Promotor Prime cards I am wondering.
