I hope everyone likes this set. I personally like how there were 4 different countries represented in the US, UK, Mexico, and Australia. I tried for a 5th country (Japan) when I talked to Rina Yamashita at GCW earlier this year but I could not get her to sign as she told me she does not know much English. But I really want to get Rina Yamashita in the game, so I am currently writing a letter to her that I will ask the Japanese teacher at work to write out a tranlsated version in Japanese that I can give to Rina. Last weekend at GCW, Rina seemed impressed with the cards I gave to Big F'N Joe (they were at the same merch table and I was given copies of Big F'N Joe's card to give to him. I talked to him on Facebook earlier that day and he was expecting me) and I think I can get this signing if I can indeed get pass this apparent communication barrier. This same Japanese teacher has already given me a translated version of the official release form in Japanese and Japanese wrestlers have said they understand it. I don't know for sure if I can sign Rina Yamashita, but I have a plan in place for an upcoming attempt and I can promise I will do my best.  A shame, but also some good signs there; fingers crossed she gets on board next year as she would be an awesome name to have in the game |

Congrats to Miedo Extremo from this set for winning this year's NGI!
True story, earlier this month when I went to GCW in Los Angeles, before the show I was sitting in my truck in the parking garage next to the venue and Miedo Extremo saw me and came over to talk to me about his recently released card.

tonigjt, after winning yesterday's annual NGI, Miedo Extremo challenges Blake Christian for the GCW World Championship. I definitely don't expect Miedo Extremo to win tonight, but I also did not expect him to win the NGI yesterday either.  |

Anyone do a death match with the ladies? How'd it go? I've used Mickie Knuckles more than the others so far in death matches. I have really enjoyed using her. Every match I have had her in has been good fun. I used Terra Calaway in my TOD, which will be posted soon. That was the first time I had really used her at all. Again, she had some really good matches, which were fun to roll out. As for Wreck and Copeland, I have used them in non-deathmatches at the moment, but intend to give them more deathmatch use in due course. Wreck had a really good match with Austin Theory for me. |
