I know everyone wants Mr. Wrestling II, but where's the love for the original Mr. Wrestling? Let's get both Tim Woods & Johnny Walker in the game! I know Chad has mentioned it wasnt a good experience with Tim Woods, but I've tried to speak with his son...and lets say the term "like father like son" fits. I'm ok with guys not wanted to be in, but.... Let me tell you of a good example. Downtown Bruno. I showed him the game. His response was he didn't think so, but the game looked good and he liked the art. I thanked him for his time and he said no problem at all. No issue with that. Thanks for the info. I didn't know about Chad's experience with Tim Woods, or your experience with his son.
I just thought since everyone was saying Two, Two, Two, why wasn't anyone saying One, One, One. Now I know.

Maybe Downtown Bruno will reconsider now that Young Rock has been cancelled and he's no longer a recurring character on a TV show. 😎

Okay so far we have 1: One Man Gang 2: Missing Link 3: Wahoo McDaniel So I’m going to guess: 4: Fred Curry (big star in Texas in the 60s, so fits the south theme) 5 & 6: The Tolos Brothers (John was a star in Texas and Mid-South, Chris held tag gold in Florida) 7: Bobby Shane (big star in Florida, Georgia, and Gulf Coast) 8: Kevin Sullivan (Florida) 9: Mike Graham (Florida) 10: New name TBD, but I’m gonna go with…. Gino Hernandez PP: The Mongols I'd love a card for Gino, especially if we get Chris Adams too. |

Not a lot of patternicity to see in the history of post Black Friday names (even for me). They've tended to be reissues rather than new names by a roughly 2:1 margin and have only been a tag team once. The names have generally been midcard names like Fit Finlay, Steve Regal, Manny Fernandez, and Tracy Smothers. So I'm gonna guess Bobby Shane or Mike Graham tomorrow.

But the data might be skewed on that - as we typically had teasers of greater number by the time the preorder name goes up, and more than one new name. If we assume we are only getting two new names total, then yes, I agree with you that it will probably be another colorization and the final teaser pre-shipments will be the final new name. However, would they end with two new names, if there are three? I am thinking we may get the other headliner tonight - or - if there is a tag team in this set - maybe a tag team. |
