When I think of Atlas I always think 1) WWF & 2) World Class more than anything else

The Atlas/art thing has been a popular theory, since a lot of people expected him in either the Memphis or Northeast sets. But there's never been like an official statement one way or another. I think Fred Curry and Bobby Shane are both good bets, as back in January the LOW team stated on the podcast that they were two of their top picks for a color update. I’m confused. Why was anyone expecting him in the Memphis sets? He had a couple of one off matches there and that was it. He was never a Memphis guy You don't sound confused to me.

I would have put money on Atlas being in that Northeast set.

I was thinking Eddie Graham is the co-headliner If he is that is an interesting take. I would assume we have at least one more new name. Was wondering if he was considered the co Headliner myself? I'm sure some would think he is, hoping for JYD still.

For Memphis it would be more accurate to say "mentioned him as a black and white name that worked in the territory at some point".

I'm sure some would think he is, hoping for JYD still. I would venture a guess that the remaining headliner - barring a tag team - will be announced by themselves and will clearly announce “the this is second of two headliners” rather than leaving us to try to decipher who the headliner is. My other thinking is it is probably a new name as, again we have only had two new names.

I realized I hadn't done one of these for Eddie... Starting out in the late 40s and wrapping up in the early 80s, Eddie Graham’s in ring career connected him to a considerable list of fellow LOW roster members.
In the early 50s he worked in the Amarillo territory, where he worked with Bob Orton Sr, Mike DiBiase, and the Tolos Brothers (especially John), and even at one point Victor the wrestling bear(!).
In the late 50s, he worked with Pepper Gomez in the Dallas territory.
In the DC territory that would go on to become the world wide leader in sports entertainment, as a featured tag wrestler he worked in the late 50s through early 60s with Antonio Rocca, The Fabulous Kangaroos, Don Curtis, Red Bastien, Arnold Skaaland, Johnny Valentine, The Sheik, Pampero Firpo, Bobo Brazil, and Buddy Rogers.
In Florida, where he is iconically associated with, Graham shared the ring with LOW roster names like Angelo Poffo, Austin Idol (in his Mike McCord guise), Bob Armstrong, Bob Orton Sr. and Jr., Bob Roop, Bobby Shane, Boris Malenko, Don Curtis, Don Muraco, Dutch Mantel, Freddie Blassie, Harley Race, Ivan Koloff, Jack & Jerry Brisco, JJ Dillon, Johnny Valentine, Kevin Sullivan, Lou Thesz, Manny Fernandez, Mike DiBiase, Mr. Saito, Oliver Humperdink, Ox Baker, Ray Stevens, Scott Irwin, Sputnik Monroe, Stane Lane, Steve Keirn, The Destroyer, The Fabulous Kangaroos, The Spoiler, The Tolos Brothers, Thunderbolt Patterson, Wahoo McDaniel, Wilbur Snyder, Yukon Eric, and, of course, his son Mike.
I found references to a couple of matches in St. Louis where he worked with Joe Blanchard and Baron Von Raschke. A handful of tours in Japan saw him paired with Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba. I found a trio of confusing references, one being to a series of matches against Masked Superstar 1 & 2 in the mid-seventies, these don’t appear to be our Masked Superstars, in fact 2 was apparently Jerry Lawler. I also found a bunch of matches against Doug Gilbert in various personas, but again not *that* Doug Gilbert, as the scion of the Gilbert clan was like 12 when Eddie passed away. Finally, I found references to some matches in the mid to late 70s against AN Eric the Red and could not determine one way or the other if it was the Eric the Red signed to LOW or just someone else working a Viking gimmick.
This list, of course, only touches on the LOW roster members Eddie Graham shared the ring with, and can’t begin to touch upon the careers he shaped as a booker.

That would have been Doug "The Professional" Gilbert who I know worked WWWF at various times in the 70s and I seem to recall was probably wrestling in various areas from the 50s onwards.

Haven't checked all weekend and just logged onto the site. I'm BEYOND excited for Eddie & Mike to be in Expansion Set XI. I drive by the old "Tampa Sporatorium" all the time and the old Deep South Sports offices. I love the FL territory (lived here my whole life) and I am genuinely over the moon excited for these cards!!!
Just look who I used for the pic of my avatar. Eddie in front of the Tampa offices.

Didn't Scott Hall have a Florida run when Dusty was booking?
