LIVE FROM THE MATTAMY ATHLETIC CENTRE IN TORONTO ONTARIO Wednesday January 1st, 2025 Attendance: 4,402 COURTNEY RUSH & JASON KINCAID v DENISE PELF & A-KIDDenise Pelf and Jason Kincaid started this match off and Denise Pelf quickly stunned Kincaid with a vertical suplex before floating over for an immediate near fall. Denise Pelf then caught Jason Kincaid with the Pelf Plunge for another near fall before tagging A-Kid into the ring. A-Kid then caught Kincaid with a flying superkick before going for a kip-up enzuigiri. Jason Kincaid ducked under and landed a sunset flip bucklebomb on A-Kid before tagging Courtney Rush into the match. The “Demon Assassin” then caught A-Kid with a black hole slam before landing the Red Wedding to earn the pinfall victory to the shock of Denise Pelf who watched on from her team’s corner. WINNERS: Courtney Rush & Jason KincaidTHUNDER ROSA & TREVOR LEE v PENELOPE FORD & HALCON JRThunder Rosa and Trever Lee absolutely dominated both Penelope Ford and Halcon Jr throughout this match and despite catching both Ford and Halcon Jr with multiple La Rosa’s and the “Carolina Caveman” hitting numerous finisher variations including locking both Penelope Ford and Halcon Jr in the STF neither competitor could keep Halcon Jr or Penelope Ford down. Throughout the match Penelope Ford and Halcon Jr broke up several near falls to keep the match going. The end of the match saw Trevor Lee come off the top rope looking to hit a diving stomp, but Halcon Jr rolled out of the way. Halcon Jr then caught Trevor Lee with the Halcon Slam for a near fall before tagging Penelope Ford back into the match. Penelope Ford then hit the Back Flip Stunner on Trevor Lee and earned her team the pinfall victory as Halcon Jr prevented Thunder Rosa from making the save. WINNERS: Penelope Ford & Halcon JrRicochet v Austin TheoryAustin Theory and Ricochet constantly switched momentum back and forth throughout the duration of this match with neither man holding the advantage for more than a few moments before the other man took control. The end of this match saw Ricochet toss Austin Theory into the corner, as Ricochet charged in, he caught Austin Theory with a running splash before hitting the Rickrack. Austin Theory then rolled to the arena floor. The two men then started brawling back and forth until Ricochet caught Austin Theory with a backslide driver on the arena floor before catching Austin Theory with a Samoan drop through the time keeper table afterword the referee called for the bell giving the disqualification victory. WINNER: Austin TheoryHAKU & POWERS OF PAIN (Warlord & Barbarian) v VAL VENIS & JAMES GANG (B.G. & Kip James)Haku and B.G. James started off for their teams and started going back and forth until Haku started to build momentum. After Haku caught B.G James with the suplex assortment B.G made the hot tag to Kip James. Kip James hit the ring hard and caught Haku with a running corner splash, jackhammer and power slam in quick succession before tagging B.G. James back into the ring for the spike piledriver. Haku almost immediately shrugged the move off before making the tag to the Barbarian. The Barbarian caught B.G. James with a pair of thrust kicks before landing a couple of shoulder breakers. B.G. James tried to make the tag to either Kip James or Val Venis, but the Barbarian cut him off before going for an elbow drop. B.G. James rolled out of the way and then caught the Barbarian with the James Gang Pounce, but the impact sent the Barbarian into his teams’ corner where the Warlord tagged himself into the match. The Warlord caught B.G. James with a belly to belly suplex for a near fall on B.G. James. The Warlord then hit the stalling body slam on B.G. James before going for a knee lift, B.G. James dodged out of the way and tried to toss the Warlord into the corner. The Warlord reversed and as he charged in after B.G. James, the James Gang member quickly sidestepped and rolled up the Warlord to earn the pinfall victory for his team. WINNERS: James Gang and Val VenisS.D. Jones v Big Van VaderBig Van Vader opened by catching S.D. Jones with some front chancery before choking Jones. Vader then tried to transition back to front chancery, but S.D. Jones fought Vader off and hit the butt bump and booty wiggle, but that only pissed Big Van Vader off who landed a running body avalanche on S.D. Jones to earn the pinfall victory. WINNER: Big Van VaderTaylor Wilde v Trish StatusThese two local women put on a counter wrestling clinic as neither woman could hold the momentum for very long. Trish Stratus managed to earn the only near falls of the match as she caught Taylor Wilde with several Chick Kick’s in a row to earn a pair of back to back near falls before Taylor Wilde blocked a handstand spinning head scissors and locked Trish Stratus in the crossface for several long minutes, but the Hall of Fame wrestler refused to tap out. Taylor Wilde then caught Trish Stratus with a step-up enzuigiri that sent Trish Stratus tumbling to the arena floor. Taylor Wilde followed Trish out and was disqualified when Wilde repeatedly drove Trish Stratus’ head into the ring post ignoring the referee’s warnings. WINNER: Trish Stratus“Last Horseman” Chris Sinclair v “Rowdy” Roddy PiperChris Sinclair opened this match by stunning Roddy Piper with a kick to the leg before going for Sling Blade. Roddy Piper dodged and the stunned the “Last Horseman” with a pair of eye pokes. “Hot Rod” then caught Chris Sinclair with a brutal knee lift leading to a quick near fall. Following a swinging neckbreaker Chris Sinclair rolled out of the ring and “Rowdy” Roddy kept up the pressure as the two men brawled all around the ringside area. Back in the ring Roddy Piper hit a back suplex before tossing Chris Sinclair into the corner. As Roddy Piper charged in the “Last Horseman” stunned “Hot Rod” with a back elbow before catching Roddy Piper with the Horseman DDT for a near fall of his own. After Roddy Piper kicked out Chris Sinclair wore down Piper with a pair of Horseman Spinebuster’s before locking on the Canadian Crossface. Piper fought his way off the mat and Chris Sinclair released the Canadian Crossface and tried to land a neckbreaker. Piper fought Sinclair off and brutally assaulted the “Last Horseman” with several forehead bites and eye pokes before Chris Sinclair managed to fight Piper off and went for second Sling Blade. Once again Piper dodged, and this time caught the “Last Horseman” with a bulldog. Piper then climbed to the top rope and Chris Sinclair recovered and caught Roddy Piper with a superplex before locking on the Figure Four Leglock. Roddy Piper fought his way to the ropes to force the break and Chris Sinclair landed the Horseman DDT to earn the pinfall victory. WINNER: Chris SinclairGISELE SHAW & JODY THREAT v CANANDIAN NINJAS (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez)Gisele Shaw and Portia Perez started this match with some phenomenal back and forth action that saw neither woman gain the advantage for more than two or three moves. That came to an end when Portia Perez managed to catch with back to back quick dropkicks before she made the tag to Nicole Matthews. Matthews hit the ring and caught Gisele Shaw with a lariat for a near fall before hitting the Vancouver Maneuver to earn the victory for the Canadian Ninjas as Jody Threat watched on stunned. WINNERS: Canadian NinjasBRISCOE BROTHERS (Jay & Mark Briscoe) v VON ERICHS (Marshall & Ross Von Erich)The winners of the 2024 Best of the Independents Tag Team Tournament took their shot at the MFWrestling World Tag Team Championship in this match and the two brothers started off strong by dominating Mark Briscoe with rapid tags and double team moves until Mark Briscoe managed to dodge a barefoot from Marshall Von Erich. Mark Briscoe then planted Marshall Von Erich in the center of the ring with a pair of Saito suplexes before hitting the Cut-Throat Driver for a near fall. Mark then tagged in his brother Jay Briscoe who hit the ring and landed a pair of Jay Drillers for another pair of near falls. Jay Briscoe then grabbed one of the belts and laid out Marshall with a brutal head shot. Marshall stumbled back into his corner where Ross Von Erich tagged himself back into the match. Ross caught Jay Briscoe with a sling blade before landed the cannonball. Ross Von Erich followed that up by locking on the Iron Claw, but Jay Briscoe fought to the ropes to force the break and Ross then hit the flying Rossbody, but the impact sent Jay Briscoe rolling to his corner where Mark Briscoe tagged himself back into the match. Mark Briscoe then landed the Fisherman buster before tagging Jay back into the match to connect with the Doomsday Device. The Briscoe Brothers earned the pinfall victory as Mark Briscoe prevented Marshall Von Erich from making the save. WINNERS: Briscoe BrothersBriscoe Brothers Retain“Johnny Wrestling” Johnny Gargano (c) v Diamond Dallas PageDiamond Dallas Page opened this match by tossing the reigning and defending MFWrestling World Champion into the corner, as Diamond Dallas Page charged in after Johnny Gargano stunned the challenger with a brutal back elbow. Johnny Gargano then quickly locked on the Garga-No Escape, but DDP was way to close to the ropes and immediately grabbed the bottom rope to force the break. Johhny Gargano then stunned DDP with a pair of Hurts Donut’s before landing the Baby Ace Crusher. With DDP on the ropes “Johnny Wrestling” came off the top rope with an elbow drop, superfly splash and finally a frog splash before once again locking in the Garga-No Escape. Once again Diamond Dallas Page got to the ropes to force the break and Johnny Gargano then connected with a pair of swinging reverse STO’s to earn the pinfall victory to retain the MFWrestling World Championship. WINNER: Johnny GarganoJohnny Gargano retainsCOURTNEY RUSH & JASON KINCAID v PENELOPE FORD & HALCON JRHalcon Jr and Jason Kincaid started this match with some back and forth action until Jason Kincaid try to land the Coast to Coast. Halcon Jr got out of the way and planted Jason Kincaid in the middle of the ring before tagging Penelope Ford into the match. Penelope Ford then kept up the pressure with the DDT, Bronco Buster before locking Jason Kincaid in the Muta Lock. After Jason Kincaid broke the hold Penelope Ford connected with the Back Flip Stunner and Courtney Rush made the save to keep the match going. Penelope Ford then climbed to the top rope and as she came off, Jason Kincaid dodged, and Penelope Ford caught the referee. Jason Kincaid then tagged Courtney Rush who hit the ring and caught Penelope Ford with the Demon Mist before hitting back to back Red Weddings. Unfortunately for the team of Courtney Rush and Jason Kincaid the referee was still down. Penelope Ford eventually managed to tag Halcon Jr back into the match and he caught Courtney Rush with a somersault clothesline before hitting the Trampolin Halconrana. Courtney Rush then rolled into her corner and Jason Kincaid tagged himself back into the match. Jason Kincaid then caught Halcon Jr with a springboard blockbuster before going for a sunset flip bucklebomb. Halcon Jr overpowered Jason Kincaid and sent Kincaid to the mat with a spinboard heel kick before hitting a Halcon Slam for a near fall. Halcon Jr then tagged Penelope Ford back into the match, and she once again locked on the Muta Lock forcing Courtney Rush to make the save. Penelope Ford then connected with the Back Flip Stunner to earn her team the victory as Halcon Jr prevented Courtney Rush from trying to make another save. LIVE FROM THE SUNLIFE ARENA in WATERLOO ONTARIO Saturday January 18th, 2025 Attendance: 4,352 VENOMOUS (Lash Whipwreck & Snake) w/ Cassidy & Celeste v MULKEY BROTHERS (Bill & Randy Mulkey)Randy Mulkey and Lash Whipwreck started this one off and Randy Mulkey tried to catch Lash Whipwreck with a single leg takedown, Lash Whipwreck blocked the move and went after Randy with a series of rapid gut punches. Randy Mulkey fought Lash Whipwreck off and once again went for the single leg takedown and once again Lash Whipwreck blocked the move. Lash Whipwreck then caught Randy Mulkey with a pop-up right hand and went for the pinfall. Bill Mulkey hit the ring to make the save and Lash Whipwreck responded by climbing to the top rope and catching Randy Mulkey with a diving elbow drop going for another cover and this time Snake prevented Bill Mulkey from making the save to give Venomous the pinfall victory. WINNERS: VenomousTiny v Mike JacksonTiny opened this match by catching Mike Jackson with the Cheeseburger Chokeslam and followed that up with a pair of Onion Ring Tosses before landing the French Fry Faceslam. With Mike Jackson on the defensive Tiny hit the Whopper Slam before hitting the T-Bone Steak Suplex. Tiny then put the exclamation point on this match ending the match with the Buffet Bomb for the pinfall victory. WINNER: Tiny“The CEO” Richard Livingstone v Keith Steinborn“The CEO” opened the match by offering Ketih Steinborn a bribe and it only seemed to piss Steinborn off who caught Richard Livingstone with a snap mare before connecting with a DDT. Keith Steinborn tried for a back body drop, but the “CEO” blocked the move and took Keith Steinborn to the mat with the Stock Market Crash. Richard Livingstone then kept up the pressure with several Complain about this to HR shots before finally ending this one with The Layoff for the pinfall victory. WINNER: Richard LivingstoneS.D. Jones v King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby “the Brain” HeenanAs soon as the bell rang King Kong Bundy took the fight right to S.D. Jones by catching Jones with a choke with his boot. King Kong Bundy then tossed S.D. Jones into the corner and caught S.D. Jones with a running shoulder block. King Kong Bundy then pulled S.D. Jones out of the ring and locked on a chinlock before catching S.D. Jones with a knee drop. S.D. Jones then tried to catch a breather by rolling to the arena floor, but King Kong Bundy kept the pressure up by rolling out after S.D. Jones and body slamming S.D. Jones on the arena floor. King Kong Bundy then rolled S.D. Jones back into the ring and hit the Avalanche for a long two count. King Kong Bundy then hit a second Avalanche and demanded the Five Count on route to earning the pinfall victory. WINNER: King Kong BundyRockin’ Robin v Angelina LoveAngelina Love started this match by tossing Rockin’ Robin around the ring with multiple Mexican arm drags before she tossed Rockin’ Robin off the ropes. Rockin’ Robin rebounded and caught Angelina Love with a kick to the head before landing a back elbow that sent Angelina Love crashing out of the ring. As Rockin’ Robin tried to follow Angelina Love out of the ring Angelina Love recovered and caught Rockin’ Robin by driving Rockin’ Robin hard into the ring post. Angelina Love then rolled Rockin’ Robin back into the ring and connected with the Botox Injection for a near fall. Angelina Love then hit a shoulder jawbreaker before hitting back to back Codebreaker’s before going for a sidewalk slam. Rockin’ Robin countered and laid out Angelina Love with a pair of roundhouse punches before hitting the Bulldog for a near fall. Angeline Love quickly powered out only for Rockin’ Robin hit a second Bulldog for a long two count. After Angelina Love kicked out the second time Rockin’ Robin hit a middle rope sunset flip before landing a flying lariat to finally put Angelina Love away for the pinfall victory. WINNER: Rockin’ RobinHalcon Jr (c) v Disco InfernoIn his first ever singles Championship Halcon Jr struggled against the veteran Disco Inferno. Halcon Jr couldn’t find a way to keep Disco Inferno on the defensive long enough to connect with the Halcon Slam. Despite that Halcon Jr managed to pick up several near falls with both the Trampolin Halconrana and Trampolin Halconsault. For his part Disco Inferno kept Halcon Jr on the defensive for several long periods until he would try to hit the jumping forearm. Each time Disco attempted the move Halcon Jr would counter until this match came to an end when Halcon Jr first ducked under a clothesline by Disco Inferno before landing a spinebuster and going for the cover to retain the North American Championship. WINNER: Halcon JrHalcon Jr retainsTWISTED SISTERZ (Holidead & Thunder Rosa) v CANADIAN NINJAS (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez)Holidead and Nicole Matthews started this match off for their teams and Holidead quickly managed to pick up a pair of near falls on Nicole Matthews with the Dead Drop and Unprettier. Holidead then tagged in Thunder Rosa who climbed to the top rope only for Nicole Matthews to recover and catch Thunder Rosa with a slam off top rope. Nicole Matthews then made the tag to Portia Perez who caught Thunder Rosa with the Divorce Court and a jawbreaker before tagging Nicole Matthews back into the match for the Funky Cold Medina. Somehow Thunder Rosa managed to kick out only for Nicole Matthews to hit the Vancouver Maneuver. Holidead made the save to continue the match and Nicole Matthews tagged Portia Perez back into the match, who landed a spinning heel kick before landing a quick dropkick for another near fall on Thunder Rosa before locking on the Just Facelock and Thunder Rosa tapped out as Nicole Matthews prevented Holidead from making the save once again. WINNERS: Canadian NinjasPenelope Ford (c) v Cherry BombPenelope Ford started this match by quickly Cherry Bomb to the mat with a jawbreaker before hitting a double handspring splash. With Cherry Bomb on the ropes the reigning and defending Women’s North American Champion began laying into her challenger with several back elbows before going for a Bronco Buster. Cherry Bomb rolled out of the way and took control of the match by landing the Cherry Popper for a near fall before locking on the Anger as Beauty. Penelope Ford managed to fight the move off and Cherry Bomb landed the Heads Up before hitting a turnbuckle smash. Cherry Bomb kept up the pressure by tossing Penelope Ford into the far corner and catching the champion with a brutal running dropkick. Cherry Bomb then once again locked on the Anger as Beauty, but Penelope Ford was too close to the ropes and quickly got a foot on the bottom rope to force the break. Cherry Bomb then landed the Bombs Away and Death from Above before dragging Penelope Ford into the center of the ring and once again locked on the Anger as Beauty in the center of the ring to earn the submission victory to become the new Women’s North American Champion. After Chris Sinclair reached the ropes to force the break Greg Valentine landed a pair of shoulder breakers before once again locking on the Figure Four Leglock in the center of the ring. Once again the “Last Horseman” fought his way to the ropes to force the break and Greg “the Hammer” Valentine quickly landed the rope pounce and pulled Chris Sinclair away from the ropes to earn the pinfall victory in this one sided match. Hana Jade then wasted no time and stunned Hikaru Dragonheart with the Jaded Emerald to earn the shockingly quick victory in this match up. WINNER: Hana JadeVENOMOUS (Lash Whipwreck & Snake) w/ Cassidy & Celeste v THE BRITISH BULLDOGS (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) w/ Capt. Lou AlbanoSnake and Davey Boy Smith started this match off against each other and both men went back and forth until Snake caught Davey Boy Smith with the Nomad Drop then making the tag to Lash Whipwreck for the DOA leading to a near fall. Lash Whipwreck then went for a leg lock, but Davey Boy Smith powered Lash Whipwreck off and hit a running dropkick before tagging the Dynamite Kid into the ring. The Dynamite Kid went for a knee drop, but Lash Whipwreck rolled out of the way. Lash Whipwreck then went an eye poke, but the Dynamite Kid blocked it and tagged Davey Boy Smith back into the match and the British Bulldogs hit a double shoulder block. Davey Boy Smith then landed a delayed vertical suplex. Lash Whipwreck then rolled out the ring, as Davey Boy Smith followed Lash Whipwreck out, the Venomous member caught Davey Boy Smith with a Fire Ball leaving the referee no choice but to call for the bell to end the match, giving the British Bulldogs the disqualification victory. WINNERS: British BulldogsDenise Pelf v Dakota DynamiteDenise Pelf and Dakota Dynamite put on a phenomenal back and forth match with numerous near falls. Dakota Dynamite managed to connect with the Dynamite Driver on several occasions, but Denise Pelf kept kicking out. Denise Pelf managed to connect with back-to-back Pelf Plunges and Dakota Dynamite returned the favor by kicking out after both. After Dakota Dynamite came off the top rope looking for a frog splash, only for Denise Pelf to get her knees up to block the move. Denise Pelf then connected with another Pelf Plunge to earn the pinfall victory. WINNER: Denise PelfGLAMOUR GIRLS (Leilani Kai & Judy Martin) v CANADIAN NINJAS (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez)The Canadian Ninjas entered this match looking to regain the Women’s World Tag Team Championship, while the Glamour Girls looked to become the first team to successfully defend the championship. Portia Perez and Leilani Kai started for their teams and Leilani Kai took the early advantage by overpowering Portia Perez. Leilani Kai then hit a dropkick that sent Portia Perez tumbling into the Canadian Ninjas corner. Nicole Matthews then tagged herself into the match and went for a test of strength that Leilani Kai that came out on top of. Leilani Kai then took Nicole Matthews to the mat with a pair of butterfly suplexes before she tagged Judy Martin into the ring. Judy Martin then went for a diving headbutt to the sternum, but Nicole Matthews dodged out of the way and laid into Judy Martin with several kicks to the chest before hitting the Vancouver Maneuver for near fall. Nicole Matthews tagged Portia Perez back into the ring and the Canadian Ninjas connected with the Funky Cold Medina and Leilani Kai made the save to extend the match. Nicole Matthews and Judy Martin then spent the next several minutes trying to earn enough separation to tag in their partners when Nicole Matthews suddenly caught Judy Martin with a second Vancouver Maneauver. Leilani Kai tried once again to make the save only to be cut off in the attempt by Portia Perez who caught Leilani Kai with a pair of Superkick’s that sent Leilani Kai tumbling out of the ring. Nicole Matthews then hit a third Vancouver Maneauver on Judy Martin to earn the Canadian Ninjas the pinfall victory. With the victory the Canadian Ninjas have once again become the Women’s World Tag Team Champions. WINNERS: Canadian NinjasCanadian Ninjas have become the NEW WOMEN’S WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!Tiny v Big Van VaderTiny opened this match by catching Big Van Vader with the Onion Ring Toss before hitting an Extra Large Soda Suplex that saw Vader roll out of the ring. As Tiny rolled out after Big Van Vader caught Tiny with a brutal right hand. Big Van Vader landed back-to-back Released Power Bomb’s before hitting a Samoan Drop. With Tiny reeling Big Van Vader hit a bone-crunching splash before tossing Tiny off the ropes. Tiny rebounded and caught Vader with a running clothesline before hitting the Whopper Slam. Tiny then for the French Fry Forearm but Big Van Vader blocked the move and caught Tiny with a big boot to the face. Big Van Vader then landed the Vader Bomb and once again Tiny found a way to kick out. Big Van Vader went for a Moonsault only for Tiny to roll out of the way. Hillbilly Jim then went for his repeated punches only for Chris Sinclair to reverse and catch Hillbilly Jim with a standing dropkick. Chris Sinclair then hit the Impact Crusher for a near fall before coming off the top rope with a diving elbow drop for another quick near fall. The “Last Horseman” kept up the pressure by locking on the Canadian Crossface before hitting consecutive Horseman Spinebusters before coming off the top rope with a diving headbutt for another near fall on Hillbilly Jim. Chris Sinclair then went for a Sinclair Bomb, but Hillbilly Jim rolled out of the way. Hillbilly Jim then caught Chris Sinclair with an elbow drop before hitting a scoop slam followed quickly by a leg drop. Hillbilly Jim then went for a head butt, but Chris Sinclair blocked it and caught Hillbilly Jim with a Horseman DDT before hitting the Final Ride to earn the pinfall victory. WINNER: Chris SinclairAndre the Giant v “CEO” Richard LivingstoneAndre the Giant opened the match by rejecting the “CEO’s” offer and laying Richard Livingstone out with a big boot to the face. Andre then went for a dropkick, but the “CEO” dodged out of the way, before hitting the Chopping Block and trying to cover the Giant. Richard Livingstone then hit the Corporate Cutter and the Layoff for another pair of pin attempts on Andre the Giant. Richard Livingstone then came off the top rope looking for a shoulder block, but Andre the Giant moved out of the way and caught Richard Livingstone with a pair of body slams before landing a head butt that nearly kept Richard Livingstone down for the three count. Andre the Giant then landed the Big Splash to pick up the pinfall victory over the “CEO.” WINNER: Andre the Giant“Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen v Bruno Sammartino“Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen took the fight right to Bruno Sammartino as soon as the bell rang by catching Bruno with a superkick before locking on a Sharpshooter. When Bruno powered out of the hold Kevin Steen rolled Bruno out of the ring and landed the powerbomb onto the ring apron. Kevin Steen then rolled Bruno back into the ring and went for a pinfall. Bruno quickly kicked out and “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” went for and missed a 450 Splash. Bruno Sammartino then caught Kevin Steen with several relentless stomps before going for a cover. Bruno then landed the head-first body slam before hitting a jumping kick and then locking on a Boston Crab in the center of the ring. As Kevin Steen was fighting his way to the ropes Bruno released the hold and locked on a Bear Hug in the center of the ring. After holding Steen in the hold for several long minutes Bruno finally released the hold and caught Kevin Steen with a knee to the side of his head before landing the Italian Backbreaker for a near fall. Bruno then landed a second head-first body slam before finally earning the pinfall victory over Kevin Steen with a jumping kick. WINNER: Bruno Sammartino“Sweet” Saraya Knight v Joanie LaurerJoanie Laurer started this match strong as she took the fight right to the reigning and defending Women’s World Champion “Sweet” Saraya Knight quickly earning a pair of near falls following a press slam and DDT. Joanie Laurer then went for a huracanrana only for Saraya Knight to counter the move and catch Joanie Laurer with a DDT of her own. Saraya Knight then locked on the Knightmare only for Joanie Laurer to quickly power out. Saraya Knight then landed a running Samoan Drop for a near fall before once again locking on the Knightmare. “Sweet” Saraya Knight kept Joanie Laurer held in the hold for several long minutes, but the powerful Joanie Laurer refused to tap out. After finally giving up on the Knightmare Saraya Knight tossed Joanie out of the ring and the two women brutally brawled back and forth all over the ring side area until Saraya Knight rolled Joanie Laurer back into the ring and hit a second running Samoan Drop before hitting side suplex and climbing to the top rope. “Sweet” Saraya Knight then caught Joanie Laurer with a top rope crossbody block to earn the pinfall victory to retain the Women’s World Championship. WINNER: Saraya KnightSaraya Knight retainsBRISCOE BROTHERS (Jay & Mark Briscoe) v JAMES GANG (B.G. & Kip James)Mark Briscoe and Kip James stared this one off for their teams and Mark Briscoe opened the match by laying into Kip James with several chops to the chest and a running clothesline before Kip James managed to tag in B.G. James. B.G. James immediately tagged Kip back into the match as the James Gang caught Mark Briscoe with the Hot Shot. Kip James then went for a flurry of punches, but Mark Briscoe absorbed the shots before stunning Kip James with a Saito Suplex then hitting the Cut-Throat Driver for a near fall. Mark then tagged Jay Briscoe into the match who first laid out Kip James with a shot from one of the Championship belts then hitting a Jay Driller for another near fall. Jay then tagged Mark back into the match and Mark Briscoe landed a second Cut-Throat Driver to earn the pinfall victory as Jay Briscoe prevented B.G. James from making the save.
