Just speaking for me, I think it would make perfect sense for minor additional characters to drop into the Early Classics run who weren't in the original set. I see those early GWF years as being very "wild west"-y in comparison to the more structured post-Galactic Code breaking, with guys dropping in and out for quick runs and maybe even guys showing up who weren't properly vetted. In a wrestling world that had essentially "reset itself" after wrestling was outlawed, it would make sense for the early GWF to be more like a territory than a strong promotion with guys locked into contracts.

The only thing I fear about EC is that after the initial set, it could be 2+ years before the next. EC was stated not to be a yearly thing. I think there is a misunderstanding about the concept of not doing one game year per year. The concept would be more like each actual year there would be an expansion, but that expansion could cover multiple game years. Like after 2074-2075, the next edition could be 2076-2078. Hope that makes sense. This is why I was thinking Promoter Prime could be used as expansion/year sets for Early Classics. Since for the first two years 74/75, there weren't any additions to the roster. Then in 2076 there were 4 new wrestlers entering the GWF, a card update for Commander Sam and 2 wrestlers leaving (Blacklash and Bullwhip) and one injured (Jammer). That's why I was thinking it those updates could be used for promoter prime. The first two 2024 promoter prime releases could release Cosmos (2076 from Early Classics), Mimic (from Classics 2084), Rama (from Early Classics), Tano (from Early Classics) and then the updated Card for Commander Sam (from Classics 2079). This would leave room for an extra card if needed. EDIT: PIGGY BACKING OFF PETE's POST: Just speaking for me, I think it would make perfect sense for minor additional characters to drop into the Early Classics run who weren't in the original set. This is where the L-FSCE wrestlers could come in to fill gaps to make it 3 cards a cycle if needed.

Maybe I missed, but is this going to the cards from the original EC or will they include the cards from the classics era? If those aren’t included, I’ll skip EC since they’re a crucial part of it From what’s been stated it’s the Early Classics roster for the years 2074/2075. That included all eight cards from Classics 2074, two cards from Classics 2079 and nine cards from Early Classics. Myself and I think most others have assumed it’s those cards but you bring up a good point since there are 20 cards in the original early classics set. I wonder how long it would take to get some clarification on this? Maybe part of the confusion is that while there were 19 wrestlers on the roster, only 17 officially wrestled in the singles division. The Cross Currents (Thetis & Vortex) only wrestled in the tag division. If it is the roster for the year of 2074/2075 that’s 19 wrestlers and everything stated about the set is 20:cards and I don’t think that is including the 3 Promoter Prime Cards. Maybe there will be a new wrestlers/characterfor this set? Maybe a new arena card? Some type of commissioner or authority figure card? Who knows? Below is a list oh the 2074/75 original roster and the sets they came from. Classics 2074 Blacklash Bullwhip Commander Sam Santon The Loner Thetis Torpor Torin Caelum Vortex Classics 2079 Morpheus Omega Early Classics Blood Cordsar K.O. Keller Jammer Moonstrike Ricken Prince Screw Solar Flare Trotarus Thanks. I would really love to start a gwf fed proper, with all of the history that goes with it. I just want to make sure all of the wrestlers, in their proper year, are good to go

I'm curious how Mimic will be handled...this whole thing could be really fun depending on execution.

You could do updates on him for years depending on who he was feuding with at the time. Also looking forward to see if an Avenging Warrior card would be made for this based off his Son of Bash 2103 card.

Here is a list of what years characters/wrestlers came into the GWF in the Early Classic years, plus some ideas for new cards. Some are my own idea and some are based off history of Early Classics.
2074 - 2075
Blacklash (Classics 2074) Blood (Early Classics) Bullwhip (Classics 2074) Commander Sam (Classics 2074) Cordsar (Early Classics) K.O. 2076 Cosmos (Early Classics) Rama (Early Classics) Tano (Early Classics) Mimic (Classics 2084) (maybe multiples of his Card in updates depending on who he feuds with) Commander Sam (Classics 2079)
2077 Jammer returns from injury (there wasn't a card originally used for his return but maybe a new one could be?) Silver (Early Classics)
2078 Caiman (Early Classics) Hechilles (Early Classics)
2079 Parsec (Classics 2079) Tantalis (Classics 2079) Star Warrios (Classics 2079) Cosmos (Early Classics 2079 Update)
2080 Mighty Gorgan (Classics 2086) K.O. Keller (Classics 2084)
2081 Salvation (Classics 2086) Sin (Classics 2086)
2082 Morpheus (Early Classics 2082)
2083 Lord Nexus (Classics 2084) Montrol (Classics 2084) Vice (Classics 2084) Cosmos (Early Classics 2083) Star Warrior (Early Classics 2083)
2084 Big Superstar (Classics 2084) Code Enforcer (Classics 2084) Commander Krakan (Classics 2084) Marcel de Sade (Classics 2086)
2085 Dragon Fighter (Early Classics) Wolf (Classics 2086) (he's in Gladiator paint for the first time) Brute (2087 Reimagined) Massacre (2087 reimagined)
2086 - 2087 (before first GWF release) Dark Star Creature (Classics 2086) Natural Man (Classics 2086) Renegade (Classics 2086) Avenging Warrior (would be a new card based off the Son of Bash 2103 card)

I got my PP cards in the mail last night. Thank you, guys, for the hard work you do. It is much appreciated. Not sure when I will get around to using them, but I do have some plans forming. Especially for the Samoans.
