Just my two cents here:
1.) Until FG has people paid full time to do things like this, I'm going to be gracious. As far as I can tell, each and every person associated with the game has another full time job that they have to work. They all have families and outside commitments - which leads me to think, life happens, and I'd surely want others to show me some grace when I overextend myself.
2.) As has been mentioned on the intermittent The Roll Up Podcast, and at length at GCON, and at the Road To Galacticon Online Event - as much grief as I got for reminding people - we are no longer on a quarters schedule, but rather, a set of Four Cycles. Meaning that Pro Prime cards for what would traditionally be the 3rd Quarter will come with the 3rd Cycle Releases. As it sits, looking at the Filsinger Games website for upcoming releases (https://filsingergames.com/upcoming-releases/) the Cycle 3 Release of game editions, also known as when Pro Prime would be released this year, is slated for September/October. I don't want to be accused of coming off as a "wannabe know it all" a second time, but clearly we are forgetting the Cycles vs. Quarters argument. At this point in time, for those concerned about "getting what they paid for" in regards to Cycle 3 releases, those haven't gone on sale yet, so no one has paid for those. Regarding Pro Prime, I'll ask one question: How many sets of cards have you gotten and how many releases have their been? As was noted in the two prior sentences, nothing from Cycle 3 has been released yet, and thus, no one would have received their sets or be missing Pro Prime cards. The only way folks would have not gotten what they paid for is if they didn't receive one or both of the Cycles of Pro Prime cards or their sets, or until folks don't receive their Cycle 3 and 4 Pro Prime cards. So long as FG ships the Cycle 3 Pro Prime cards by the weekend of October 27-29, and ship the Cycle 4 Pro Prime cards prior to December 26-29 they have met their obligation to me as a customer, IMO.
But, what do I know? This is just probably me being a wannabe know it all.

There definitely needs to be a major calm down here, I think.
We aren't dealing with Amazon or a big retailer, but people who are doing this alongside their full time jobs and/or other parts of their life, in order for us to all play a game that we are big fans of.
Perhaps a bit of respect for those people and what they do wouldn't go amiss
To suggest they do not respect us is ludicrous, given the amount of effort they go to for things like G-Con and to get more and more names signed on and cards produced for us to use

Well...now that everyone has jumped on the "hexxstar" and telling him that he needs to chill out and sit on his hands... the red headed stepchild of the community is going to chime in...
This topic could have avoided by anyone on the FG team simply stating where they were at release wise...there has not been an official statement of "by end of October" but that of "soon"...
I understand that no one is on the payroll and that everyone has jobs/lives/kids and all that...buuuut they should be able to take the praise as well as the "tsk...tsk"... simple as that!
I haven't rolled dice except for once since the mess with the last FTR as comments slung around/comments ignored kinda has soured the Kool aid for me and I have taken my gaming $ to other places.
The service used to be banging and never had to wonder where cards or orders would arrive...two friends had to wait for nearly a month after they were released- only to find out that postage mark didn't match up with the supposed mailing...
I prepaid for promoter prime just like everyone else...I just want updates but "soon" doesn't cut it to be honest... that wouldn't fly with any other company and I don't think it should fly here...
No one should tell anyone what the person should feel as they are paying customers and their wallet will speak... although, in the past, Tom didn't seem to care whether anyone stepped away or not...so, take that as you will...

I'm in the middle. FG has become at the bottom of my hobbies, and I don't want that to sound like I'm taking a shot. I struggle to find the magic in it these days, but I'm also VERY bored with the state of wrestling. It's so formulaic these days and time-consuming that I can't fathom watching. So, my views may be different if I actually cared about wrestling these days.
It's up to me, promoter?
I'm at the point where I can leave this community and be fine. It wouldn't bother me, though I'm not trying to come off negative at all. However, I basically spent a lot of money on an absolute garbage online platform with art we wait on because Werner's always bogged down and stats that are often done from loyalists. Please, know I respect every person that works on this game, especially the Legends and Indie side.
Honestly, we're a strange group of people. No matter the side you choose, you're right and wrong. We have loyalty battling paying customers and paying customers battling loyalty. Though there are a lot of odd ways FG is run, I'll never get upset with those that do all the work here. Yes, I will toe across a line that may cross where we're to go and not, but I think we should be able to agree who really does all the work for FG. It's not Tom.
Anyway, I'd love an update... but I'm also not going to attack the system... the system is just broken.

This community has always had a problem with paying customers speaking up.
We're allowed to do that. This game, though standing the test of time, is so niche it's hilarious.
This company is not a juggernaut. It's held up by loyal fans who get uncomfortable when you question shit.
"Wolf" and "Thanatos" are not as original as you think. (They're still iconic to me, but I'm not dumb...)
You're in your 30s and 40s. You're gatekeeping makes you look insane.
FG needs something, could be just communication, but that something is not for me to figure out...
...after all, I'm just a paying customer.
I mean, I'll just wait for announcements at G-Con '24~!

You just gave yourself the very reason in your post, actually multiple reasons, to chill and wait (or Netflix and chill, I don't know all you youngins and your new fangled phrases) But you never not get your stuff. I've rewritten this post numerous times and wanted to sink to your level, but I’ll be the bigger man. Not once did I say I wanted new stuff. I said I wanted open lines of communication as to what is going on. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes for someone from the Filsigner games staff to respond to any message on here where a customer states they are having any issue. There are people in this thread stating they are having an issue with how things are currently being done and have stated so. While I'm posting this Dustin posted a great post as well, the system is broken and noone at Filsinger seems to even care enough to fix it. It's not just about who they get for LOW/Indies, it's not just about what new character they make for CotG/FTR. I thought it was about community and there are some people within the community that have questions and have noticed that things aren't being communicated. Now onto just a little bit of "pettiness". Just for your knowledge, I don’t play legends and couldn’t care less that they signed Paul Orndroff. This thread was listed under COTG Promoter Prime and had nothing to do with LOW vs COTG or anything like that. Also I'm not going to let anyone run me away from here, so you keep being surly and hopefully get some sleep and maybe look at things through a different light. |

Since CAC was mentioned at GCon, and I have zero knowledge, but maybe this quarter release is related to the CAC? Maybe waiting to see if Tom got any interesting names at the CAC? Cycle, remember Travis605 , we are no longer on quarterly releases anymore. My cycles stopped once I hit menopause.  |
