Glad to see two of my favorites, Idol & Mantell, teach Beefcake & Valentine a lesson they'll never forget!
Marty Jannetty looked like he could be in line for a title shot...before Terrible Turk put him in his place!
Looking forward to the rematch between Jim Londos & Mil Mascaras--that should be a technical wrestling clinic!

Nitro Wrestling 2.16
Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Jim Londos vs. Mil Mascaras for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight championship. Ross says that Brutus Beefcake and Dutch Mantell have signed for a cage match next week to finish things once and for all. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Nord the Barbarian vs. SD Jones
Jones gets the early advantage and hits a gut wrench suplex for a two count. Jones goes to the top for a dropkick but Nord moves out of the way. Nord covers Jones for the three count.
Winner - Nord the Barbarian
Cornette says Nord needs to make an impact to keep climbing the ranks. Ross introduces the next match.
2. Jack Brisco & Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff & Evan Lewis
Magnum TA and Ivan Koloff start the match. Koloff mauls Magnum and beats him up on the concrete. Magnum barely beats the count back into the ring. Koloff hits the falling face slam for a two count and tags in Lewis. Magnum makes a comeback and hits the belly to belly suplex. Brisco cuts off color and Magnum gets the three count.
Winners - Brisco & Magnum by pinfall
The four men continue to battle after the match. Security eventually gets things under control. Cornette introduces the next match.
3. Marty Jannetty vs. Mike Rotunda
Jannetty and Rotunda battle back and forth. Jannetty drills Rotunda with a super kick for a two count. Jannetty hits a rocker dropper but Rotunda gets his foot on the ropes. Rotunda makes a comeback and throws Jannetty out of the ring. Rotunda hits a suplex on the concrete but Jannetty beats the count back into the ring. Rotunda hits a butterfly suplex but Jannetty kicks out. Rotunda hits another butterfly suplex for the win.
Winner - Mike Rotunda by pinfall
Ross puts over Rotunda’s athleticism. Cornette introduces the main event.
4. Jim Londos vs. Mil Mascaras - Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title match
Londos starts out strong but Mascaras counters a headlock throw into an Octopus Hold, wearing Londos down. Mascaras and Londos battle back and forth. Mascaras hits the flying body press for a two count. Mascaras and Londos battle on the concrete and Mascaras knocks Londos into the front row with a crossbody attack. Londos beats the count back into the ring. Mascaras hits a flying body press but Londos kicks out. Mascaras locks on an Indian Deathlock but Londos fights his way to the ropes. Mascaras hits another flying body press but can’t put Londos away! Londos makes a comeback and locks on the short arm scissors but Mascaras escapes. Londos hits the fireman’s carry slam. Londos locks on the Boston Crab and Mascaras taps out!
Winner - Jim Londos by submission, his seventh successful defense
After the match, Mascaras shakes Londos hand and calls for the mic. Mascaras says they’re at one win apiece and asks Londos for one more match. Londos agrees.
Ross and Cornette sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Brutus Beefcake and Dutch Mantell inside of a fifteen foot high steel cage!

Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Brutus Beefcake vs. Dutch Mantell in a steel cage. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Curt Hennig vs. Johnny Rodz
Hennig tears into Rodz and hits the HennigPlex for the win.
Winner - Curt Hennig by pinfall
Ross puts over Curt Hennig. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. Austin Idol vs. Jake Milliman
Milliman gets in some offense. Idol shuts him down and locks on the Las Vegas Leglock for the win.
Winner - Austin Idol by submission
Cornette says Idol could be in line for a title shot soon. Ross introduces the next match.
3. Magnum TA vs. Evan Lewis
Lewis gets the early advantage. Magnum rolls up Lewis for a two count to turn things around. Magnum unloads on Lewis and hits the belly to belly suplex for a two count. Lewis makes a comeback and hits a crotch lift and body slam for the win.
Winner - Evan Lewis by pinfall
Ross says Magnum came up short. Cornette introduces the main event.
4. Brutus Beefcake vs. Dutch Mantell - cage match
Beefcake and Dutch battle back and forth. Beefcake hits a suplex for a two count. Beefcake and Dutch smash each other against the cage. Beefcake locks on the Sleeper but Dutch fights his way out of the hold. Beefcake hits the jumping knee smash for the win.
Winner - Brutus Beefcake by pinfall
Ross and Cornette sign off, telling fans to tune in next week for Jack Brisco vs. Ivan Koloff and Jim Londos vs. Mil Mascaras for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title.

Jim Cornette and Jim Ross welcome the fans to the show and hype Jack Brisco vs. Ivan Koloff and Jim Londos vs. Mil Mascaras for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title. Ross says that Dutch Mantell has left the territory after last weeks’ cage match loss to Brutus Beefcake and Nitro Wrestling officials have penciled in Brutus Beefcake to take on the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight champion in two weeks. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. D’Lo Brown vs. Larry Sharpe
D’Lo dominates his former trainer early on but can’t keep him on the mat. D’Lo hits a swinging side slam for a two count. D’Lo hits a moonsault for the win.
Winner - D’Lo Brown by pinfall
Cornette puts over D’Lo. Ross introduces the next match.
2. Greg Valentine vs. SD Jones
Jones gets the early advantage but Valentine makes a comeback and drills him with a shoulder breaker for a two count. Jones makes a comeback and hits a cross body attack for a two count. Jones hits a neckbreaker for the win.
Winner - SD Jones by pinfall
After the match, Valentine clips Jones from behind and locks on the figure four leglock. Officlals hit the ring to pull Valentine off. Ross introduces the next match.
3. Jack Brisco vs. Ivan Koloff
Brisco goes to work on the Russian Bear at the bell. Brisco hits the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Brisco locks on the figure four but Koloff drags the two men to the ropes, breaking the hold. Brisco locks on the figure four a second time and Koloff taps out.
Winner - Jack Brisco by submission
Ross puts over Jack Brisco and says he’s well on his way to another title shot. Cornette introduces the main event.
4. Jim Londos vs. Mil Mascaras - Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title match
Mascaras and Londos battle all over the ring. Mascaras throws Londos out of the ring and goes for a plancha but Londos moves and Mascaras crashes into the guard rail. Londos rolls him back into the ring. Londos hits a crotch lift and slam. Mascaras makes a comeback and wears Londos down with a surfboard. Londos and Mascaras get heated and battle on the concrete. Mascaras comes out on top and rolls Londos back into the ring. Mascaras wears Londos down with a bow and arrow. Mascaras hits a flying body press for the win.
Winner - Mil Mascaras by pinfall. Mil Mascaras is the new Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight champion!
Londos hands Mascaras the big gold belt and tells him to keep it warm. He’ll be back for it after he takes some time off.
Cornette and Ross sign off, telling fans to tune in next week for Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff in the main event.

Nitro Wrestling 2.19
Jim Cornette and JIm Ross welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Pampero Firpo vs. Johnny Rodz
Firpo and Rodz quickly end up brawling outside the ring. Rodz nails Firpo with a chair and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Pampero Firpo by DQ
Cornette says you don’t see Firpo winning by DQ very often. Ross introduces the next match. While Brutus and Milliman circle one another, a pre-taped segment is shown in the corner of the screen. Beefcake says he’s disappointed in Valentine after he attacked SD Jones last week and they’ll have words next time they’re on the same show.
2. Brutus Beefcake vs. Jake Milliman
Beefcake works over Milliman and locks on the Sleeper for the win.
Winner - Brutus Beefcake by submission
Ross puts over Beefcake and says he could be champion soon. Cornette rolls his eyes and introduces the next match.
3. Davey Boy Smith vs. Austin Idol
Davey throws Idol all over the ring. Davey goes to the top for a dropkick but Idol throws him halfway across the ring. Idol and Davey brawl outside the ring and Davey comes out on top. Davey throws Idol back into the ring and hits a running clothesline for a two count. Davey hits the running power slam for the win.
Winner - Davey Boy Smith by pinfall
Ross puts over Davey Boy as a future title contender. Cornette introduces the main event.
4. Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff
Koloff dominates Magnum and nails him with a Russian Sickle for a two count. Koloff nails Magnum with the Russian Chain and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Magnum TA by DQ
Koloff bloodies Magnum with the chain after the match until security arrives. Ross and Cornette sign off, telling fans to tune in next week when Mil Mascaras defends the gold against Brutus Beefcake!

Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Mil Mascaras vs. Brutus Beefcake for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight championship. Ross announces that Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff in a Russian Chain Match has been signed for next week. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Evan Lewis vs. Mikey Whipwreck
Lewis wears down Whipwreck and locks on the Stranglehold but Whipwreck escapes. Lewis continues his assault and throws Whipwreck out of the ring. Lewis jaws with Chris Candido, a friend of Whipwreck’s in the front row. Lewis rolls Whipwreck back into the ring and gets a two count with a guillotine and leg sweep. Lewis throws Whipwreck out of the ring a second time and gets in Candido’s face once again. Whipwreck takes advantage and attacks Lewis from behind. Whipwreck rolls Lewis into the ring and hits the top rope splash for a two count. Mikey and Lewis battle back and forth. Lewis rolls Mikey up with a small package for the win.
Winner - Evan Lewis by pinfall
After the match, Lewis locks Mikey in a Stranglehold and taunts Candido. Candido jumps the rail and grapples with Lewis until security arrives. Cornette says Candido shouldn’t have jumped the rail. Ross says Lewis shouldn’t have instigated it and introduces the next match.
2. Pampero Firpo vs. Johnny Rodz
Firpo dominates Rodz and hits a backbreaker for a two count. Firpo hits a running body slam for the win.
Winner - Pampero Firpo by pinfall
Cornette puts over Firpo. Ross introduces the next match.
3. Davey Boy Smith vs. One Man Gang
Gang and Bulldog battle back and forth. Davey scoops One Man Gang up and hits the running power slam for the win.
Winner - Davey Boy Smith by pinfall
After the match, Davey Boy Smith challenges the winner of tonight’s main event. Ross and Cornette introduce the main event.
4. Mil Mascaras vs. Brutus Beefcake - Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight championship
Mascaras and Beefcake wrestle back and forth. Beefcake gets in some offense but can’t keep Mascaras down. Mascaras makes a comeback and hits a flying body press for a two count. Mascaras goes to the top and Beefcake throws him to the mat. Beefcake locks on the sleeper in the middle of the ring! Mascaras barely manages to escape the hold. Beefcake locks on the sleeper a second time but Mascaras reaches the ropes. Beefcake hits the flying knee smash and covers Mascaras for a two count. Maracas makes a comeback and locks on the bow and arrow but Beefcake escapes the hold. Mascaras hits a flying body press but Beefcake kicks out. Mascaras hits the crossbody attack for a two count. Mascaras hits a second crossbody attack for the win.
Winner - Mil Mascaras by pinfall, his first title defense.
Mascaras shakes Beefcake’s hand after the match. As Beefcake makes his way to the back, Greg Valentine comes out of the crowd and attacks Beefcake from behind. Valentine locks on the figure four until officials pull him off.
Ross and Cornette sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff in a Russian Chain match!

Jim Cornette and Jim Ross welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff in a Russian Chain Match. Ross announces that Mil Mascaras vs. Davey Boy Smith for the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title has been signed for next week, as well as Chris Candido vs. Evan Lewis, and Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine will meet one and one in two weeks. Cornette introduces the first match.
1. Stanislaus Zbyszko vs. Jake Milliman
Milliman gets the early advantage and whips Zbyszko the buckles. Zbsyzko avoids the turnbuckle charge and rolls Milliman up for the win.
Winner - Stanislaus Zbyszko by pinfall
2. Austin Idol vs. Marty Jannetty
Idol and Jannetty battle back and forth. Jannetty drills Idol with a DDT for a two count. Idol makes a comeback but Jannetty shuts him down with a super kick for a two count. Jannetty hits a dropkick for a two count. Idol and Jannetty battle back and forth. Idol locks on the Las Vegas Leglock but Jannetty escapes the hold. 4. Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff - Russian Chain Match
Koloff mauls Magnum and hits the leg drop but can’t touch a single post. Koloff hits a falling face slam and Magnum is out of it but keeps Koloff from touching a corner. Koloff crushes Magnum with a Backbreaker but Magnum still manages to keep him from touching a post. Koloff hits another falling face slam but Magnum keeps him in the middle of the ring. Koloff batters Magnum with the chain. Koloff goes to the top but Magnum throws him to the mat! Magnum bloodies Koloff with the chain. Magnum hits two belly to belly suplexes and drags Koloff to all four corners of the ring.
Winner - Magnum TA
Ross and Cornette sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week for Mil Mascaras vs. Davey Boy Smith with the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title on the line!
