The talk around the WNBA may be all about Clark but it was not Indiana that became the first WNBA team to sell out all of their home games in a season. That distinction is rewarded to the Las Vegas Aces who just sold their last ticket for their last home game in September. They are sold out for every home game this season. A really good sign that they will get an NBA team sooner rather than later.

A really good sign that they will get an NBA team sooner rather than later. What makes that season sellout even more impressive is the fact that it comes at a timne when the Aces, at least by their back to back championship standards, are struggling as they are only in 5th place and 1 game above .500. However, their All Star point guard just made her season debut from injury and they dominated in their last game with her return so maybe they are turning a corner. And I will definitely be very surprised if Seattle and Las Vegas are not the next two places chosen for the upcoming NBA expansion teams.

The only thing that could trump Seattle I would think is a foreign market. Granted at this point it would be a Canadian or Mexican city. That is based on desire by the brass in NBA not on desire by fans in any cities in those countries.

Tonight the Aces won 85-74 win over the WNBA-best Connecticut Sun who were 13-1 but who are now 13-2. Apparently getting that All Star point guard back is indeed a difference maker.
