The girl in the corner said "Boy, I want to warn you, it'll turn into a Ballroom Blitz"! Mornin and Happy Friday Eve brother topdollar! I was so psyched when Thesz was able to capture the crown. I just hope he can hold the title for a while at least! This is a tough roster to defend against. And his first defense is against Chaos - yikes! I am also rooting for DiBiase and Savage, I just hope that they can keep it together. I was talking to a beautiful woman in the crowd after the show, (who looked really familiar - but I couldn't put a name with her face - truth be told - I wasn't always looking at her face - she may be a wrestler?). Anyway she said that Savage is tired of doing all of the heavy lifting and accused DiBiase of just using Savage to get what he want's. It all sounds pretty heavy to me, but I guess we'll just have to see for ourselves I guess. Card 9 results up next. Hope all be good by you and yours my friend! |

Some Developments Occurring During The Course Of...As Well As After...Tonight's Card 9:
Due to some clandestine back room agreements and deals, two BBW tag teams have now officially broken up, but not under the most amicable of conditions.
After much persuasion, Ted DiBiase has convinced Chaos to form a tag team partnership with DiBiase. The only caveat Chaos insisted on was that this new team has to be managed by Magnus Colby, (aka Magnus The Magnanimous), otherwise the deal is off.
Macho Man Randy Savage and Matador of M83, (Dibiase's and Chaos's former tag partners), found out about these maneuvers and formations via social media, and completely lost their shit, with both achieving a whole new volitile level of pissed, and unexpectedly formed a bond - due to how they were unceremoniously and simultaneously released from their original teams.
Ted Dibiase & Chaos with Magnus Colby are now known collectively as, "The Billion Dollar Corporation".
Macho Man Randy Savage & Matador of M83 with Sensational Sherri Martel are now known collectively as, "Stared At A Candle For Two Hours And Got All Our Heads Together".

Magnus and DiBiase together is either brilliant or explosive...I can't wait to see how it goes. I'm catchin you're drift brother TTX! I'll say this for them, it's a pretty bold move on their part. But it does seem like they are playing chess against not only the rest of the roster, but perhaps against eachother as well. Is it really a good idea to kick Savage and M83 to the curb? And that woman I was talking to during the show, (that I mentioned to topdollar about) turned out to be Sensational Sherri Martel. And if this turns into a power struggle between DiBiase and Colby, then where does it leave the elephant in their room in the person of Chaos? DiBiase had a sidebar talk with Chaos and told him that if DiBiase were in Chaos's corner vs Thesz, then Chaos would be the champ right now. Thses are the first two teams to "cross the streams" as it were - with a Legend & Champion on each team...gotta wonder what other closed door conversations may be going on? Let's see how The Billion Dollar Corporation fares on Card 10...egos, potential agendas and all...let alone who trusts who? Thankfully mi amigo, more to follow! |

Then again, it is hard to look at faces when you watch all the fast-paced in-ring action of women's wrestling! Am I right, Bri? I totally agree with you! topdollar! And I can dig the extra S in SSM, as well as the tremendous action in women's bouts. Just as good & if not better at times. Not to give away too much, but on Card 11 we may see SSM in action in what could be a game changer of a bout for this fed. Rockin stuff brother - I thank you for the inspiration! |

Some Developments Occurring During The Course Of...As Well As After...Tonight's Card 10:
▪ The Billion Dollar Corporation:
The Corporation's first foray into business together in the ring came out of the gate strong, but ultimately went south. Although DiBiase and Chaos functioned well as a team, there was definitely some miscommunication as DiBiase yelled out to Chaos to get Colby to distract the ref so DiBiase could suplex Snuka through the table. It's debatable as to whether Chaos didn't actually hear DiBiase or had indeed heard him - but was pissed off at, (in Chaos's own eyes), being delegated to merely a go between. On top of that, Brody's and Snuka's technical victory is now giving them a shot at The Undisputed Tag Team Championship Titles. A, (post match), furious Chaos and Colby got into a heated argument with DiBiase. DiBiase eventually was able to start to talk the scene into something less volitile, but tensions still remained high, especially after a large deranged looking man, who was obviously associated with DiBiase, joined the scene. The deranged looking man was a little shorter than DiBiase, but was at least one hundred pounds heavier than Chaos, (if not more).
▪ The Basilisk:
Basilisk found out the hard way, that he and Orrus The Unstoppable were no longer a team, and it just didn't understand. Orrus and who was apparently his new partner, Tarval The Trapper, took a terrible perverse joy, in seeing The Basilisk completely ensnared and struggling in one of Tarval's nets. The Basilisk looked and felt more like a caged or trapped animal...and in real fear...until...someone came up from behind Orrus and Tarval and cracked their heads together. And kept cracking their heads together until both Orrus and Tarval ran off in seperate directions. The man who drove them off, immediately - and with furious anger - started to work at freeing The Basilisk, who now longer seemed afraid at all, but grateful.
▪ SSM:
Sensational Sherri Martel threw down a challenge to Magnus Colby himself to meet her inside the ring one on one...in order to take him to school and teach him several lessons - from strategy to wrestling itself...but Magnus declined Martel's challenge...however...Magnus's dazzling supermodel girlfriend didn't...in fact...the girlfriend counterchallenged Martel to make the bout a tag elimination bout...Martel accepted...and both of them seeked out to recruit partners who would not only help them win...but infuriate the shit out of each other...Ted DiBiase lent a hand with securing a tag partner for Colby's girlfriend.
▪ Matador of M83:
Sensational Sherri Martel - So who is this...dude again?...
Matador of M83 - He's a former manager of mine...trust me...he can wrestle...and he definitely knows his shit...he'll be perfect...
Sensational Sherri Martel - And he'll jive with Randy?...
