BREAKING NEWS:
ROV Matchmaker Excalibur has revelaed that back in the days of VWG he was the mystery VWG General Manager and he has purchased the rights to VWG which, as previously announced, he is brigning back and incorporating VWG and all of VWG History into the VIU!
To determine the winner of the vacated VWG Championship, a Battle of Las Vegas (BOLV) will be held the weekend after Last Vegas whch will also include a separate tag team tournament to determine the winners of the vacated VWG Tag Team Championship!

Another former VWG Champion, Jimmy Jacobs, has instead elected to participate with current ROV Champion Tyler Black as Age of the Fall in the tournament to determine the new VWG Tag Team Champions and the first announced participants of that tournament are all former VWG Tag Team Champions:

BREAKING NEWS:
Adam Pearce, who led the Evolution faction during the previous chapter of VWG, has been added to the list of Battle of Las Vegas participants! Pearce is stil upset that his controversial reign as Minor League Wrestling Champion was never recognized by VWG when MilW was rebranded as VWG.
In addition to Pearce, former VWG wrestlers Jigsaw, Eddie Kingston, Kevin Steen, El Generico, and Roderick Strong have been added to the list of Battle of Las Vegas particpants!
In the VWG Tag Team Championship Tournament taking place as part of the Battle of Las Vegas, former VWG tag teams the Young Bucks and the Hooligans have been added to the tournament! Another former VWG tag team, current EVOLVEGAS Tag Team Champions Kings of Wrestling, were offered a spot in the VWG Tag Team Championship Tournament but Chris Hero (who won the first-ever Battle of Las Vegas) and Claudio Castagnoli have elected instead to enter the Battle of Las Vegas!

Previous VWG wrestlers Steve Corino, Nigel McGuinness, and Austin Aries have all been added to the Battle of Las Vegas!
In addition, Age of the Fall will be replaced in the VWG Tag Team Champioship Tournament by the Motor City Machine Guns as Jimmy Jaconbs refuses to team with Tyler Black due to issues stemming form their feud back in the original VWG. Tyler Black and Jimmy Jacobs will thus instead both enter the Battle of Las Vegas as singles competitors to complete the 24 person tournament field!

Match #1: Kevin Steen defeated Chuck Taylor in a Battle of Las Vegas Block A First Round match
- Taylor looked good early but Steen won via a high angle senton bomb.
Match #2: Brian Cage defeated Claudio Castagnoli in a Battle of Las Vegas Block A First Round match
- Castagnoli controlled most of this match, however, Cage stunned Castagnoli via WEAPON X for the sudden victory.
- As a result, it will be Kevin Steen vs Brian Cage in the next round.
Match #3: Eddie Kingston defeated Austin Aries in a Battle of Las Vegas Block A First Round match
- A very good First Round match, Kingston won via BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE after Aries missed a 450 SPLASH.
Match #4: Briscoes defeated Inner City Machine Guns in a VWG Tag Team Championship Tournament First Round match
- A very good First Round match. Although Ricochet managed to hit Jay Briscoe twice with his 630 SENTON and the ICMGs scored most of the pin attempts, the Briscoes survived to win this match when Jay Briscoe pinned Rich Swann via a JAY DRILLER.
