Match #16: "Filthy" Tom Lawlor and Erick Stevens defeated the Briscoes in a VIU Tag Cup Second Round match
- The Briscoes, the top seeded team in this tournament, go down in the Second Round when Lawlor took out Jay Briscoe via MASTER BLASTER.
Match #17: Hooliganz defeated the Von Erichs in a VIU Tag Cup Second Round match
- One match after the Briscoes were eliminated, the Von Erichs became eliminated when Paul London pinned Marshall Von Erich via a SHOOTING STAR PRESS.
- As a result, it will be Lawlor/Stevens vs Hooliganz in the Quarter-Finals.
Match #18: Ringkampf defeated RUSH and Kenny King in a VIU Tag Cup Second Round match
- WALTER pinned King via a POWERBOMB.
Match #19: Kings of Wrestling defeated Moustache Mountain by DQ in a VIU Tag Cup Second Round match
- Tempers flared during this match leading to Trent Secen getting DQd for smashing Chris Hero with a steel chair.
- As a result, it will be King of Wrestling vs Ringkampf in the Quarter-Finals. On commentary, Riccaboni and Kenely point out it was the Kings of Wrestling who earlier this year ended the historic 21-show reign of Ringkampf as EVOLVEGAS Tag Team Champions.

Match #20: The OGK (managed by Maria) defeated the Young Bucks in a VIU Tag Cup Second Round match
- Another heavily-favored tag team falls in the Second Round. The Bucks made this a very competitive match but the OGK won when Michael Bennett pinned Nick Jackson via a PILEDRIVER.
Match #21: Aussie Open defeated Homicide and Hernandez (both accompanied by Shelly Martinez) in a VIU Tag Cup Second Round match
- Kyle Fletcher pinned Homicide following the FIDGET SPINNER.
- As a result, it will be Aussie Open vs The OGK in the Quarter-Finals.
Match #22: Los Ice Creams defeated Reno Scum in a VIU Tag Cup Second Round match
- Los Ice Creams, who earlier this year won the ROM Tag Team Championship Tournament to become the first-ever ROM Tag Team Champions, picked up another win in this tournament when Ice Cream Jr. put away Luster the Legends after EL ASESINO.
- As a result, Los Ice Creams have advanced to the Quarter-Finals.
Match #23: Motor City Machine Guns defeated the Tribe (managed by Olivia) in a VIU Tag Cup Second Round match
- The MCMGS move on to the next round when Alex Shelley pinned Hawaiian Lion via Sliced Bread #2.
- As a result, the Motor City Machine Guns will take on Los Ice Creams in the Quarter-Finals.

Match #24: "Filthy" Tom Lawlor and Erick Stevens defeated the Hooliganz in a VIU Tag Cup Quarter-Finals match
- Lawlor and Stevens won again when Stevens pinned Paul London via a Tiger Driver.
Match #25: Ringkampf defeated Kings of Wrestling in a VIU Tag Cup Quarter-Finals match
- A great match, one of the best matches in the entire VIU Tag Cup so far. Ringkampf avenged their recent loss in EVOLVEGAS to Kings of Wrestling (who in the process ended Ringkampf's long 21 show-reign as EVOLVEGAS Tag Team Champions) when Walter pinned Claudio Castagnoli via a POWERBOMB.
- As a result, it will be Lawlor/Stevens vs Ringkampf in the Semi-Finals.
Match #26: The OGK (managed by Maria) defeated Aussie Open in a VIU Tag Cup Quarter-Finals match
- The OGK make it to the Semi-Finals when Matt Taven pinned Kyle Fletcher via a deathjump.
Match #27: Motor City Machine Guns defeated Los Ice Creams in a VIU Tag Cup Quarter-Finals match
- MCMGs advance to the Semi-Finals when Alex Shelley pinned El Hijo del Ice Cream following SKULL AND BONES.
- As a result, it will be The OGK vs the MCMGs in the Semi-Finals.

- The impressive run by Lawlor/Stevens finally came to an end here when WALTER pinned Lawlor via a POWERBOMB.
- As a result, Ringkampf have advanced to the Finals.
Match #29: Motor City Machine Guns defeated The OGK (managed by Maria) in a VIU Cup Semi-Finals match
- The MCMGs eliminate The OGK when Chris Sabin took out Matt Taven via HAIL SABIN.
- As a result, it will be Ringkampf vs the MCMGs in the Finals.
Match #30: 5150 defeated "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows in a non-tournament match
- This non-tournament match between the Semi-Finals and Finals featured two tag teams who are widely projected to qualify for next year's VIU Tag Cup which they will do if, as expected, they win a tag team championship somehwere in the VIU next year.
- 5150 got an impressive victory here when Slice Boogie put away Anderson after 456 HEAD CRACK.
Match #31: Motor City Machine Guns defeated Ringkampf in the VIU Cup Finals
- The MCMGs win this match when Alex Shelley put away Timothy Thatcher after MADE IN DETROIT.
- As a result, the Motor City Machine Guns win the VIU Tag Cup.
