And let us not lose sight of what an absolute home run Prime has been this year. Color Lord Zoltan, white meat babyface Spivey, The Samoans, Joe Malenko, The Berserker, Bad News Allen. The team knocked it out of the park on these.

One last point and I'll hopefully shut up about it (especially if Wally can deliver and I can dive into the sets full-bore) but to me, there's already a perfectly good Purple Haze replacement who wasn't actually in the Army of Darkness in the set, and that's the Missing Link. He would fit in with Sullivan's caste of geeks perfectly.
(Link did have a run in Florida in early '85 but to my knowledge he was managed by Percy Pringle and not associated with Sullivan who seemed to be on a wrestling hiatus at the time).

The team knocked it out of the park on these. I think the main issue is that the bar was set unrealistically high last year with: The Fabulous Kangaroos and Wild Red Berry; Tony Allen, The Sinister Minister James Mithcell; Rocky Kernodle and The U.S. Express; Larry Sharpe, Rick Rude, and Adorable Adrian. I mean really the only even remote "sacrifice hit" and "non-extra base hit" was Prince Kharis, and to be frank he's still a fun card to use for October cards.

I had never heard of Anderson before today, did a little research and I'm excited to add him to my Legends Fed. Think he can fill various spots for me, everyone can't be a main eventer on the roster.
Another great year of Promoter Prime .

I know I'm not getting the set for a few days but I'm still going to check the mail like a kid waiting for his birthday money from Grandma right after work.

I guess the issue, at least for me, was the complete lack of context that he was found under. Now part of that is our fault, because he was never officially announced and we just sort of dug him up, but even if he just started popping up in promoter's mail-boxes, since Promoter Prime doesn't come with a booklet or info sheets or anything, there STILL would have been that lack of context. I'm not worried so much about everyone being someone I want or know or whatever, but I'd like to at least know how they fit in, and this choice was a complete headscratcher for a while. But now, having read the team's thought process on the matter, it makes sense to me and while I probably won't get a ton of use out of Anderson, at least I understand why he's there and how he fits in.
