THEY SAID MY NAME AGAIN!!!! Fun episode and just finished my first early classics event. I usually have tournament finals be pinfall/submission only but totally forgot and when Morpheus won by count out over Omega I popped and was like nope that's the finale and a perfect kickstart to the drama of early classics. I know titles arent supposed to change hands on a count out or DQ but this was a tournament finale and it just fits.

Bootlegs were so great and some great in jokes there if you're a long-time listener. Great booking!

I keep forgetting to mention this, but whether it was intentional or not, the "falling face slam" on Gang's card was a nice touch, because he did both a Krakan-style falling face slam and the facefirst suplex as his WWF finisher, and the move kind of fits both descriptions.

OOH I thought of a question though it might be more for fans not UT folks ...
"Who is someone you didn't know about till you got them to your fed and then they became one of your favorites?"
For me Johnny Saint is someone I had never heard of but he was a lot of fun to use and since read up on him. The Crusher was also someone I had heard of but never really seen too much stuff. He was a lot of fun to play especially being polish myself, a lot of fun watching his old videos.

Was surprised no one was a Missing Link mark. In the 80s I always viewed him as a tougher version of comedy George Steele, and someone who is hard to beat clean.
And, yes, it was slightly weird to say One Man Gang's UWF World Championship didn't count lol

I keep forgetting to mention this, but whether it was intentional or not, the "falling face slam" on Gang's card was a nice touch, because he did both a Krakan-style falling face slam and the facefirst suplex as his WWF finisher, and the move kind of fits both descriptions. I mentioned to Tim that Gang did the Krakan finisher in one of his first WWF TV matches. I think they even called it the Ghetto Blaster. When Tim put "falling face slam" on the card, we were thinking of that. But for his "suplex," Tim mentioned the face-first version. The suplex was meant to be an "up to you, promoter" type of move, as Gang used the face-first version, as well as a vertical and a gut wrench.

Glad they both finally got color cards.
