Pardon me because I forgot who’s fed I read that gave me this idea but I loved it. He had tournaments instead of shows and these tournaments would crown the top contender! So that’s the format of my fed moving forward. However I couldn’t just steal the idea. I had to put a my twist on it.

So story wise in my GWF the UFSP put in a law that all combat sports must follow this tournament system. It’s called the Cordie because everyone knows its to prevent Cordanus from cheating! There are 4 major systems that will host 5 week tournaments culminating in a PPV on the 6th. Each system tournament has its own rules. The schedule is as follows

Mensa Perennial Tournament - Rules: No DQ. Managers allowed at ringside. There isn’t a women’s tournament because Cordanus is a misogynist

Great Aethran Bash - Death match tournament
WAR GAMES PPV

Titan Trios Tournament - Every tournament match sans the tag are Triple Threat matches until 2 are left standing.

Andromeda’s King of the Cage - Cage Match tournament
HALLOWEEN HAVOC

Cetus Invitation Tournament - Ironman tournament
WRESTLENATION

The winner of each tournament gets a 2/3 falls match with the champ at the PPV (except the tag division). The champion of each division also must defend the title in each system against a fan voted opponent. Thanks for reading.

Mensa Perennial Media Day Highlights

1. From Evolution comes Disaster! Doomsayer holds a Transevolver event where his promised spoil Evolution turns on Doomsayer after being Transevolved! Disaster makes an immediate impact. Next Genocide and Buck Steele finally are split, but of course the minds are reversed!

2. Vengeance returns to the GWF as the first acting Minister of War to wrestle! There he is confronted by Disaster who calls him a traitor! Disaster then backs Spike publicly. In another interesting turn Brute has joined the battle on the side of his long time friend Spike and has left the GWF.

3.Disaster appears with Mandrill and the Colonizers. Mandrill rebrands his team the Colonizers of Aethra!

4. In response to rumors of a Pelf and Paragon affair Rocket kicks them off his team! The couple appear in person to humiliate Rocket but it’s Paragon who’s humiliated as he’s ambushed by long time rival Pegasus!

5. Last but not least Commissioner Cordanus is fighting to maintain control of the GWF despite the legal action by Omega to oust him! Court proceedings are taking place as we speak.

Mensa Perennial Tournament
Week 1

Cordanus is in charge of not only the GWF but the Mensa territory! He was in charge of seeding for the event so there are some odd first round bouts. The rules for Mensa are No DQ with managers allowed at ringside!

Grand Tourney 1st Round

Bloodline (3) w.Thantos def. Mandrill (2) w.Rouser following an Avenger Cannon! Bloodline proves he’s ready for the spotlight!

Murdok (6) w.Grovel def. Wraith (4) w.Doomsayer with POWER OF THE PLAGUE. Doomsayer robbed Murdok of a win and Wraith had a few visual pin falls on Murdok due to an unconscious official. Yet Murdok prevails! 4.5*

Pegasus (1) w.Maxine Babe def. Paragon (4) w.Nora Pelf after a flying body press in a beatdown. 2.5*

Code Enforcer (2) w.Commander Sam def. Rising Sun (6) w.Lord Nexus after HEADS WILL ROLL. The Code Enforcer was dominating but Rising Sun came back and got SUNSET SPECTACULAR! The Code Enforcer fights back to prevail. 4.5*

Wolf (4) w.Avenging Warrior def. Max Shield (1) via the SAVAGE FACE CLAW! Wolf kicks out of OMICRON FORCE twice in the comeback win. 3.5*

Disaster def. Vengeance (2) via RAMPAGE! This loss didn’t look good for Vengeance. 2*

Encubus (4) w.Thantos def. Archon (3) w.Commander Sam following a crucifix in a great technical match. Thantos takes great pride in this one. 4.5*

GWF Interplanetary Championship
Mensar (2) w.Cordanus def. Terminus © (6) w.Mangus after the WRECKING MACHINE. Cordanus cheated but Terminus still earned the respect of the fans by not going down without a fight! Mensar wins his first IP title! 4.5*

Takeover won all their matches despite having tough matches all around.

Week 2

Tag Tourney 1st Round

Creatures of Lamia (4) def. Desolation Factor (5) w.Mangus after the POWER SLAM. Turge took RACKED AND RUINED before unleashing Cyclopes like a Krakan on the former tag champs! Cyclopes put Ruin away and the upset is complete. 5*

Malice & Overkill (1) def. Rebel Empire (4) w.Rouser after AETHRAN SUPREMACY. The Gladiators destroyed their rivals in a lopsided affair. 2*

Titan Honor (6) w.Lord Nexus def. Stars & Stripes (7) w. Commando Sam after a 450 Splash by Ursa Major. 4*

Superiority Complex w. Star Warrior def The Ravagers (4) after BRASS KNUCKS and a Spike piledriver. Prodigy and Skinhead were in 2100 form. 2*

GWF Tag Team Championship
Next Generation (6) w.Thantos def. Twin Blood © (5) w.Johnny Rocket after the SECOND COMING finishes Sleeze. Next Gen wins the titles for the 2nd time! 4*

GWF Heavyweight Championship
Euritar (3) w.Cordanus def. Thunder © (4) after HEADS WILL ROLL to regain the GWF title in controversial fashion! Thunder had just hit THE TEMPEST before Cordanus distracted Thunder long enough for Euritar to lock him in his finisher! 4*

Takeover wins the week again and also holds all the gold to the delight of Cordanus!

IP Tourney 1st Round
Genocide w.Doomsayer def. Tortured Soul (4) with SPINAL TAP. Genocide dominates then wishes Hyper good luck but he sounded sarcastic.

Blazing Skull def. Maelstrom (1) via DEATH BY FIRE. Maelstrom has to be carried off on a stretcher as BS unleashes his full might! 2*

Hyper w.Doomsayer def. Anarchy via a SLINGSHOT INTO RINGPOST. Hyper after the match, “I’ll see you in the finals Buck! If you can make it there!”

Scion Nexus w.Lord Nexus def. Dark Justice (2) with THE RISE AND FALL. Either Scion is next or Justice is washed!

Atman def. Tocsin (1) via THE THIRD EYE (Falcon Arrow). Atman impresses in his debut! 2*

Rising Sun (4) w.Lord Nexus def. Mike Fortune (3) w.Krakan following. SUNSET SPECTACULAR! This match definitely added more gas to the fire as Lord Nexus had to get involved only to be blindsided by Krakan! That didn’t stop Rising Sun from getting the comeback win! 4*

Vyper w.Lorelei def. Nth Degree (4) w.Doomsayer after VYPER’S SIDESHOW. Nth Degree gets demolished.

Enigma (3) w.Star Warrior def. Corporal Aegis (5) w.Trisis after ENIGMA SUICIDA! Enigma survives CORPORAL PUNISHMENT twice to cut off Aegis’ comeback! 4*

Week 4

2nd Round IP TOURNAMENT
Genocide (1) w.Doomsayer def. Blazing Skull (5) as Genocide pulled off a dominant performance.

Vyper w.Lorelei def. Atman (4) with a Snake Spinesmasher after Atman dominated early.

Hyper (1) w.Doomsayer def. Rising Sun (2) w.Lord Nexus via the BEZERK POUNDING ASSAULT! Doomsayer saved Hyper from defeat and allowed him to turn the match into a brawl. Both Hyper and Genocide makes the final four.

Enigma (1) w.Avenging Warrior def. Scion Nexus (6) w.Lord Nexus following ENIGMA SUICIDA! Enigma breaks up what could’ve been a Titan vs. Transevolver final four.

2nd Round Mensa TOURNAMENT
Wolf (2) def. Disaster (8) with the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. Disaster proves how tough he is but passes out to the pain.

The Code Enforcer w.Commander Sam def. Encubus (3) w.Thantos via the CODE CROWBAR! The former GWF Champion is in the final four!

Bloodline (2) w.Thantos def. Murdok (3) following BLOODLINE’S BIG BANG. Hard fought win for Bloodline. 4*

Non-title Match 
Mensar (2) w.Cordanus def. Pegasus (2) w.Maxine Babe after the WRECKING MACHINE! The IP champ gets another big win, this time over arguably the GOAT! Could we have a Takeover final to see who takes on the Takeover Champion?

Week 5

Tag Semifinals
Malice & Overkill (2) def. Creatures of Lamia (7) with AETHRAN SUPREMACY! The crowd was ripping and roaring as the Gladiators tossed Cyclopes big ass all over. 3*

Titan Honor (5) w.Lord Nexus def. Superiority Complex (6) w.Avenging Warrior after the BLADE OF RETRIBUTION puts Skinhead down! This match got intense but neither manager got involved. 4.5*

IP Semifinals
Enigma w.Avenging Warrior def. Genocide (2) w.Doomsayer via ENIGMA SUICIDA! Enigma was on the brink of defeat when he gets the quick turnaround win.

The Genocide versus Hyper dream is crushed.

Vyper w.Lorelei def. Hyper (6) w.Doomsayer with VYPER’S SIDESHOW. Vyper dominated this one.

Old rivals meet as Vyper takes on his old rival Enigma for the first time with both men on the hero's side.

Mensa Perennial Semifinals
Code Enforcer (1) w.Commander Sam def. Bloodline (4) w.Thantos by way of HEADS WILL ROLL! Euritar, the GWF Grand champion interfered and turned the tide of the match but the Code Enforcer overcame all odds toWeek. 4Weeklf def. Mensar (4) w.Cordanus via the SAVAGE FACE CLAW! Mensar won his feud with Wolf last year but it’s Wolf that enters the tournament finals!

Tag Finals
Malice & Overkill def. Titan Honor w.Lord Nexus following AETHRAN SUPREMACY. The Gladiators squash the Titans and will face the tag champs at Takeover.

Interplanetary Finals
Enigma (1) w.Avenging Warrior def. Vyper (1) w.Lorelei after ENIGMA SUICIDA! Enigma squashed his former stablemate and showed the bad blood between the two still exists, Enigma says, “Was there ever any doubt? I have always been the better of us two!” With Enigma putting Cordanus out of wrestling this match with Mensar will be heavily anticipated.

Mensa Perennial Finals
Code Enforcer (4) w.Commander Sam def. Wolf (4) w.Avenging Warrior following the CODE CROWBAR. A great main event ends when Code Enforcer takes everything Wolf has and beats him!

Commander Sam and the Code Enforcer are presented the trophy by Cordanus and Euritar! Sam hands the trophy to the Code Enforcer. Sam reminds Euritar where he got his start but calls him moral less! “Cordanus took you to new heights but at what cost? The price you will pay is in pain! The man next to me will enforce the code and the GWF will have an honorable champion!”

Cordanus tells Commander Sam he’s nuts and he mismanaged Euritar. “Under my tutelage he is the champion! He is where you and your men want to be! He’s the best in the galaxy and he’s always ready to prove it!”
