your first Early Classics champions

I have been playing the original Early Classics, and I am in 2083 currently (well, when I eventually return to that fed).

My first Champion was Omega of Cetus. He defeated Morpheus in the finals of The Tournament to win it. His first title reign was a 2 title defense reign, eventually dropping the belt to Torin Caelum .

The Guardians were the first tag champions, defeating Dorado Sundown in the tag tournament finals, keeping the belts for 4 successful title defenses, eventually losing the belts to The Mensans.

I started my fed before the new official set was announced using the original cards. I'm up to starting 2077 and figure I'll just continue as I am mixing in the new cards since they're (mostly) the same with some nerfs and buffs here or there but aside from to the likes of K.O. not much was major. I've also mixed in some L-FCSE cards here or there for extra bodies.

My first champion was K.O. Keller. K.O. managed two defenses before shockingly losing it to Solar Flare. Solar Flare lost it in his first defense to Omega. Omega defended the championship five times before falling to Morpheus. Morpheus defended the title twice before K.O. became the first two-time champion by defeating Morpheus. K.O. barely made one defense in a time limit draw with Screw before losing the championship to Morpheus to make Morpheus the second two-time champion.

The first tag champion were The Guardians who had a unremarkable reign before dropping to Dorado Sundown. Dorado defended the tag championships six times before Omega and Commander Sam captured the tag titles. Omega and Sam had a respectable three defenses before the L-FSCE tag team of Diablo Kill Squad wrestled the titles away.

I have played out 7 cards of Early Classic so far and I am loving it. I had some weird occurrences in my tournaments, like Morpheus and Dorado Sundown both going out first round of their tournaments. So here are my champions:

Heavyweight: Santon the Loner (defeated KO Keller in the tournament finals)

Tag Team: The Guardians (defeated Ricken Prince and Torin Caelum in the tournament finals)

Santon beat KO Keller in the rematch, after KO and Screw had a match for the top contendership. Now KO Keller, Screw, Ricken Prince, Torin Calum, Blood, Jammer, Solar Flare and Moonstrike are in a POW Rules tournament with the winner challenging Santon in a match with the tournament winner picking the stipulation. I fully expect the stipulation will be a cage match if KO Keller or Screw win the tournament.

Dorado Sundown beat the Guardians in the first GWF event, but the Guardians now hold the gold. Dorado Sundown's next match will determine who will face The Guardians for the titles first.

Lao Ree is still undefeated, having bested Sheamus Pollack, Artavius and Torpor so far. He next faces his biggest challenge against a rookie that is not fond of green aliens, Commander Sam!
