Wahoo and Nick had many real life battles between Houston and additional AWA cities so this match is very interesting to see how it works out!!

Burns gets the action to the mat to control. Crusher with a body slam. Cover for one (R10/P3). Crusher comes off the corner with an elbow. A stomp off the second rope connects. CRUSHER BOLO. 1, 2, 3 (R4/P4).
Nick Bockwinkel w/Bobby “The Brain” Heenan (16) v. Wahoo McDaniel (17)
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Bockwinkel with an early whip to the corner. McDaniel counters the charge with knees to the chest. Overhead chops. One count (R8/P3). Backbreaker from McDaniel. Sleeper slows it down. Bockwinkel avoids a knee drop. McDaniel rebounded into a back elbow. McDaniel avoids an attack to the leg and sends Bockwinkel into the ropes. Both men go for a clothesline . . . crash to the mat. Bockwinkel recovers first. FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. McDaniel struggles . . . makes the ropes (R6/P3). Bockwinkel back to the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. McDaniel rolls him over (R8/P4). Exchange of counters follows. McDaniel connects with a knee drop. Overhead chops. They trade moves with no clear advantage. Perfect counters continue. Bockwinkel locks in an abdominal stretch. McDaniel avoids a butt drop to the leg. Overhead chops. 1, 2, kick out (R7/P6). Bockwinkel counters and attack the lower body with butt drop to the leg. Dropkick spills McDaniel to the floor. McDaniel trips up Bockwinkel and drags him to the floor. Bockwinkel into the ring post! Bockwinkel is busted open. McDaniel with a backbreaker. Bockwinkel flung into the ropes. Duck and rebound with tackle. McDaniel rebounded off the ropes . . . chop block from Bockwinkel! McDaniel avoids a butt drop to the leg. Bockwinkel sent into the ropes . . . McDaniel chops him down on the rebound. Chops to the forehead caused more crimson to flow. Overhead chops. More forehead chops. Heenan is losing it! Bockwinkel comes back with a hip toss and arm bar. Dropkick knocks the wind out of McDaniel. FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. McDaniel struggles but cannot escape (R3/P5).

Counters. Vader sends Zbyszko into the ropes. Duck under. Block by Vader. Again into the ropes. Another duck under . . . Vader crusher him with a tackle. Vader with a suplex. Samoan Drop . . . countered. Body slam from Zbyszko. Second slam is countered. Clothesline from Vader. Second one misses. Zbyszko misses a flying mare. Vader rebounds his opponent into a tackle. Big boot to the face. Into the ropes. Backdrop countered with a piledriver! Forearm grab and half halch. Vader kicks out at one (R6/P2). Vader back to his feet. Misses clothesline. Eats a forearm. Full nelson. Vader rolls outside. To the floor . . . Zbyszko slams Vader to the concrete!!!. Back inside. HALF NELSON AND SLAM . 1, 2, ¾ (R4/P3). OUT OF MY SEAT! Zbyszko controls with double wristlock. Transition to full nelson. Body slam. Vader rolls outside. Zbyszko follows. Vader grabs Zbyszko and slams him onto the ringside table which crushes from the impact. “HOLY $#!T, HOLY $#!T” There is the bell. Vader is out via disqualification in round two!!!
Paul Orndorff (25) v. Kevin Sullivan (57)
Referee: Morgan Dollar
Sullivan brawls to gain control. Hooking clothesline downs Orndorff for a one count (R8/P2). Tree of Woe for Orndorff. The fans are behind Orndorff. Brutal knee lifts to Sullivan. Again. Sullivan is down. Orndorff covers for one (R9/P3). Back suplex plants Sullivan for a one count (R10/P4). Another back suplex is followed by a forearm drop. Whip and kick in the corner and Orndorff executes a stalling vertical suplex. 1, 2, shoulder up (R6/P5). Sullivan ducks a running elbow. Stomps from Sullivan. Released gut wrench. Sullivan tosses Orndorff. Sullivan follows. Orndorff sends Sullivan into the post. Sullivan is busted open. ROARING. Forearm drop. Orndorff hooks the leg for the win (R4/P6)

Hawk uses is agility to get the upper hand before Studd powers back. Hawk flings Studd off the ropes . . . both go for a clothesline. Crash to the mat! Hawk is up first. Off the tope with a sledge. Dropkick. Studd blocks a second dropkick. Clothesline drops Hawk. Another clothesline. Bear hug. Hawk struggles… punches free (R4/P2). BACKBREAKER. Ellering distracts Woehrle. Body slam and big elbow drop. Both men counter each other. Hawk with a vertical suplex! Heenan distracts Woehrle . . . Studd rams Hawk into the ringside table! Back in the ring. Studd climbs the corner . . . HAWK SLAMS HIM TO THE MAT. Running clothesline connect. Cover for one only (R8/P2). Another running clothesline . . . Studd tumbles to the floor. Trips over Dr. Mike Lano! Hawk tosses out Studd again. BRAWL ON THE FLOOR. Back inside. Gut wrench suplex to Studd. Dropkick brushed away. Backbreaker on the knee. Press . . . 1, 2, kick out (R6/P4). Studd is in control. Rear chinlock. Rebounded into shoulder block. Head butt blocked. GORILLA PRESS SLAM . . . OMG! VERTICAL SUPLEX. Hawk covers . . . Quick three count from Woehrle (R3/P3). Hawk moves on. Heenan and Studd are furious at Woehrle.
