The Hairy Bikers star, Dave Myers, has died aged 66.

The star's death comes two years after revealing he had been diagnosed with cancer.

The television presenter and chef rose to fame as part of cooking duo The Hairy Bikers, with the launch of The Hairy Bikers' Cookbook on the BBC in 2004, spawning a series of subsequent books, television shows and live tours.

Myers was born in Barrow-in-Furness and later found fame alongside television co-host, cook and fellow motorbike enthusiast, Si King, 57.

The pair documented their national motorbike journeys and fondness for British cuisine as part of their hit television series, spawning a career which stretched for over two decades.

Myers was first diagnosed with cancer in May 2022, documenting his mission to get back on his bike following treatment for the disease in recent episodes of The Hairy Bikers.

I started working in hotels back in 1995 and a month or two into my first hotel job he stayed at my hotel. I worked the audit shift, 11 pm to 7 am. When I got to work one room had a do not disturb note so I knew it was someone important. Being in metro Detroit I thought maybe someone in the auto industry. Around 6 am a limo driver came in to pick someone up. He asked if I knew who it was and when I said no he said Richard Lewis. He came down the elevator and when he walked past the lobby to leave I said good morning and he did the same. Not a big moment but as a guy in mid 20s it was pretty cool.

Paolo Taviani, Award-Winning Italian Director, Dies at 92

'Gremlins' and 'Star Wars' Actor Mark Dodson Dead at 64

Mark Dodson, the actor who gave voice to some of the little creatures in "Gremlins," has died ... TMZ has learned.

The voice actor also brought to life characters for "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi," "Day of the Dead" and countless video games -- and still made appearances at fan conferences.

Dodson's first big break in Hollywood came in 1983 -- he was the voice of Salacious Crumb, the little creature with the high-pitched voice that was always seated dangerously close to Jabba the Hut in 'Return of the Jedi.'

And, as it turned out, 'Star Wars' opened the door for another iconic role the next year.

In "Gremlins," Mark was the voice of Mogwai ... and, inadvertently, had kids everywhere -- who saw the movie in 1984 -- imitating his voice.

Mark worked continuously for several decades in film, video games, radio and commercials. As his rep tells us, Mark added "his unique voice and sound to each character and script he touched."

Actress Jaclyn Jose dies at 60

Born Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, Jose was a renowned dramatic film and television actress with multiple acting awards under her belt.

She was the first Filipino and Southeast Asian to win best actress at the Cannes Film Festival, for her leading turn as a matriarch and meth dealer in Brillante Mendoza’s Ma’ Rosa. She also had three Gawad Urian best actress nods for her roles in Takaw Tukso (1987), Itanong Mo Sa Buwan (1989), and Sarong Banggi (2006).

She debuted in 1984 with William Pascual’s Chicas and Chito Roño’s Private Show, and had gone on to star in acclaimed films such as The Flor Contemplacion Story, Patay na si Hesus, and Kalel, 15. She also featured in shows such as Maalaala Mo Kaya, Valiente, and Marimar. Her last role was as Chief Dolores Espinas in the series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
