A high-profile Australian PR guru found dead in his luxury apartment was said to have been aloof and difficult to contact in the weeks before he died. Jai Evans was found dead aged 43 in the upscale unit he was renting in the 43-storey Horizon complex in Darlinghurst, inner Sydney. The PR industry was abuzz with rumours on Friday about when exactly he died and for how long his body lay undiscovered. One friend told Daily Mail Australia he died last Sunday but was not found until Thursday.

Herbie Flowers dies aged 86 British bass guitarist legend Herbie Flowers, who played with some of the world's biggest music icons including David Bowie, Elton John, Paul McCartney and Marc Bolan, has died aged 86, as heartfelt tributes have been paid to the 'beautiful soul'. Born Brian Keith Flowers, but known as 'Herbie' throughout his career, Flowers grew up in Isleworth, Middlesex before moving to Ditchling, East Sussex and was a member of the bands Blue Mink, T. Rex and Sky. He also contributed his talents on hundreds of recordings and was also credited for creating the famous bass line in Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side from his album Transformer in 1972, lending the song its unforgettable twang.

I just say this, on ESPN's web site of all places, and could not believe it. While it was just a matter of time based on his age it still seems too soon. RIP
