You will love Aigle Blanc, Vegas ! He had a superb match here in the UK on Monday against Robbie X, and wrestled Jordan Oliver only last Saturday, so they should have some good chemistry!

Seeing Amazing Red look old makes me feel old. It would be cool to see Missy Hyatt. Also, the Mortons who I was supposed to see on a couple of occasions, but they did not make it.

I think Nic Nemeth's Bloodsport match against Mike Bailey was my favourite thing he has done since coming to the indies! And Charlie Dempsey also appearing at Bloodsport was fantastic!

home now from Philadelphia, I am exhausted as from the moment I attended my first show on Friday I actually went to more shows there (8) than hours of sleep (6,) but I also slept almost tthe entire flight home and I did sleep for about 3 hours before The Collective started. I got my Vert Vixen, Man Like DeReiss, and Alec Price cards autographed. I had copies of cards to give to Alec Price and Cole Radrick went to the back to get him for me after last night's JJSBN2. I also gave cards to Man Like DeReiss and Leon Slater. Most of the signings for the game this weekend were from the Progress show. I am tired, so I am going to keep this recap short. My personal favorite Indie shows I attended this weekend were JJSBN1 and JJSBN2 with Progress a strong #3. The food at The Collective was really good (I had a good Philly cheesesteak yesterday during the TJPW vs GCW show and the cheese fries were so awesome that I had them both days that I attended The Collective.) It was great to see tystates again this weekend. Ty made some awesome signings for the game. I also want to say thank you again to Tournament Master! Todd let me crash on his extra hotel room bed and after NXT he drove me and my friend Alex (who worked the door for GCW this weekend but he is allowed to choose which shows he works at during Collective weekend so he went with us to NXT) back to The Collective afterward for TJPW vs GCW. It was fun going to NXT's Stand and Deliver yesterday with Todd, Alex, and Sinestro24! Wrestlemania XL Saturday last night was good IMO. My favorite moment was definitely Sami Zayn hitting his old El Generico finisher the Brainbustah!!!!! on Gunther to set up his victory to end Gunther's record reign as Intercontinental Champion. At the show, I picked up the annual Wrestlemania souvenir cup as I also have the last two. As for the Eagles stadium and site of Wrestlemania XL, Lincoln Financial Field, it looks great on the outside but overall I place it around the middle of the NFL stadiums I have attended. Of the past three Wrestlemanias I have attended, Lincoln Financial Field is definitely in third of out 3 spots behind AT&T Stadium in Dallas and Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles. The weather was also unpleasant (40s and high wind in a stadium that was very dark/no lights in my section) but not unbearable. Looking forward to going to Mania Weekend again next year apparently in Minnesota!

Unfortunately I got sick early Friday, and missed a couple shows I planned to go to. I did make it to Progress and Joey Janela Spring Break, which were both very enjoyable. At Progress I think my favorite was Allie Katch and Effy vs Session Moth Martina and Gene Munny...lots of fun. But some great wrestling throughout, and a great tag title match. The Janela show was just craziness all around. If I had to pick a favorite I'd say Matt Cardona vs Blue Pain, but thats because I am a Cardona mark.
I also went to the ACTION DEAN show on Thursday night which was probably the highest concentration of wrestling nerd imaginable. 12 matches across all sorts of genres in a standing room venue in a garage...Indie at its best, but a great collection of wrestlers. On the other end was NXT Stand and Deliver in front of 16K+ people. the show was good, but I dont watch much NXT these days, so some was lost on me.
I liked the WWE World and the Superstore. Got some fun pictures, but didnt wait to meet anyone. Was cool to see the Rock, even though he showed up almost 2 hours late...but he is a heel, so it was expected.
All in all a good couple days with the exception of getting sick and not getting a cheesesteak (The place I stopped at on the way out had over an hour line). Was happy to be back home watching Mania itself on my couch. If Mania is in driving distance again I'll probably do the same next time.
