Jim Cornette says a rematch has been signed between Jack Brisco and Tony Atlas for next week. JR introduces the first match
1. The Trooper vs. Alexis Smirnoff Smirnoff bulldozes the Trooper and hits the Heart Punch for the win.

2. Abdullah the Butcher vs. Nord the Barbarian Nord goes on the attack at the bell and hits a leg drop for a two count. Abdullah gouges Nord with a foreign object and covers him for a two count. Abdullah mauls Nord outside the ring and hits the torture rack slam on the concrete. A bloody Nord beats the count back into the ring. Abdullah hits the Sudanese Meat Cleaver for a two count. Brody and Muraco battle back and forth. Muraco hits a suplex for a two count. Brody and Muraco battle all over the ring area. Brody hits a running leg drop for a two count. 1. Nikolai Volkoff vs. Tom Stone Stone gets in some offense at the bell. Volkoff crushes him and hits the running stomp for a two count. Volkoff hits the backbreaker drop for the win.

JR says Volkoff could surprise everyone and win the big gold belt. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. Mad Dog Vachon vs. The Grappler The Grappler gets the early advantage but Vachon turns it around and hits a backbreaker for a two count. Vachon hits a jumping knee drop for a two count. Vachon hits the piledriver but Grappler gets his foot on the ropes. Vachon hits the Mad Dog Pounce and covers Grappler for a two count. Vachon hits a backbreaker for the win.

4. Kurt Angle vs. Brian Blair - L1 Wrestling Universal Heavyweight title match Angle and Blair grapple back and forth. The match spills out of the ring and Blair nails Angle with a flying forearm smash. Angle is nearly counted out. JR says no one can defend the title every three weeks as long as Angle has without their body breaking down. Angle makes a comeback and hits a powerbomb for the win.
Winner - Kurt Angle by pinfall, his 14th title defense, just one defense away from tying Harley Race’s record with the Nitro Wrestling World Heavyweight title.
After the match, Angle gets on the mic and says he’s just getting started. Angle says he’ll defend the gold against anyone with a winning record. Iron Man by Black Sabbath plays and Road Warrior Hawk comes down to ringside. Hawk and Angle go nose to nose until security pours out of the back.
JR and Corny sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week when Harley Race takes on Randy Savage in a preview of their L1 Tag Team tournament match.

Roddy Piper gets on the mic and says he’s done a lot in wrestling but never carried a top belt so the L1 Wrestling Universal Heavyweight title is his goal. JR says other wrestlers might have a say in that. Cornette introduces the next match.
2. The Trooper vs. Abdullah the Butcher Abdullah and The Trooper battle back and forth. The Trooper hits a standing dropkick and covers Abdullah for a two count. The Trooper press slams Abdullah to a huge pop and covers him for a two count. The Trooper locks on the Big Pinch but Abdullah fights him off. Abdullah makes a comeback and wears The Trooper down with a nerve hold. Abdullah hits the Sudanese Meat Cleaver for the win.
