big win by the GYV! I really like the use of won-loss records! A huge win for GYV, and the match was really good. Could have gone either way for a long time. I like the win loss records as well, although it does make it a little more obvious when you are giving a champion an opponent that may be padding out defences rather than someone who has also won lots of matches!

Evolve 13 October - Week 1 - Year 2 Commentary: Dave Prazak and SoCal Val
Open the United Gate titles Grizzled Young Veterans (c) (2-0) def. Beaver Boys (1-2) by pinfall Another excellent tag match involving the GYV and the Beaver Boys hold their own here. Drake has to make a desperate save as Gibson is almost pinned, but this allows the Brits to get on top and win with Grit Your Teeth on Reynolds.
Alex Shelley (1-0) def. Peter Kaasa (2-5) by pinfall A surprise hit here. Kaasa very much gives as good as he gets, but Shelley ends up the victor with Shellshock.
Biff Busick (2-2) def. Jon Davis (2-1) by submission Davis kicks out of a half and half suplex, but Busick locks on a figure four headscissors and forces Davis to tap out.
Super Smash Bros (4-1) def. Besties in the World (2-3) by pinfall Uno and Dos win with Fatality on Mat Fitchett.
Jake Something (1-2) def. Chris Dickinson (2-1) by pinfall A dominant showing by Something. He lariats Dickinson to the back of the head, then wins with MFKR.
Zack Sabre Jr comes to the ring, he tells the crowd he has proven now that he is the best wrestler in the world and still the Evolve management overlook him and ignore him for title shots. He is interrupted by Bryan Danielson who admits the last time they met, Zack did win but he is a long way from proving he is the best in the world. Zack says he's made Bryan tap out before and he will happily do it again, how about at Evolve 14?
Non-title Ethan Page (6-1) def. Chris Sabin (0-1) by pinfall Page dominates, much to the surprise of everyone in the crowd. He twice hits the RKEgo and then wins with an avalanche powerslam.
Legion of Rot (2-2) def. Bravado Brothers (0-4) by pinfall A good tag match, Frightmare wins with Kneecolepsy on Lancelot Bravado.
Evolve Title Eddie Kingston (c) (9-2) def. Simon Gotch (1-1) by pinfall Kingston is cementing himself as top man in Evolve. Gotch goes for the win with a bottom rope brainbuster, but Kingston fires up and wins with the Sliding D.

Always enjoy a Legion of Rot win and good effort from the card I'd most like to see updated In Legends, Mr. Kingston.
