I always get the virtual con ticket, even if I can't attend. I love the exclusives. I'm going to the Royal Rumble on Saturday so I won't be attending, but I'm still buying the ticket. Excited as to who this con exclusive card could be now!

Got my ticket though it looks like I will not be able to attend. My wild guesses as to who the big Indy signing might be:
Nic Nemeth - since TNA wrestlers don't have the same restrictive agreements apparently that AEW and WWE wrestlers are subject to, though I would think he would be more of a Legends midcard release versus an Indy main eventer
Kamille - to get her in the game before her WWE contract kicks in (if it hasn't already)
Mercedes Monet - before her AEW contract kicks in, but again might be more of a Legends release versus an Indy release
Jacob Fatu - the only place I have seen his name on a card are the Warbeast bootlegs
Matt Riddle - he already has cards in the game and the excitement Zeke and Travis are showing for this signing is that it is not an update card, but I figure an ex-WWE star available again is a name worth throwing out there
Moose - I may be mistaken, but I don't believe the Wrestling God has a card in the game yet, and again he is with TNA so not bound by a lot of restrictions

Moose had a card in one of the ROH sets a few years ago.
I'm thinking there wouldn't be this hype for an update.
My guesses would be Kamille, Nic Nemeth or Mustafa Ali since he has been hitting the Indies hard since the year started.

It's very likely a woman wrestler. We'll see shortly. maybe or maybe not I again just think saying the gender is too much as doing so would eliminate alot of good possibilities one way or the other. You guys have lots of good guesses here, I of course can't say whether any of them are correct, my intention here is just to increase excitement for the Indie portion of the online con this weekend. On a side note about the online con, right now I can only sit for brief periods of time due to my perianal abscess that put me in the emergency room twice last week and for which I am seeing a surgeon on February 6th. Today I had to call in sick for work because it was a staff development day with 7 hours of meetings and I can't physically sit down for that long. A regular work day would have been OK as I am on my feet for most of the time. So for the con I will probably have my camera off for most of the time as I will be lying down on my couch. But I will sit up and turn on my camera during the Indie panel. |
