Look out it’s coming! An until-now secret look at GWF history from the time of the breaking of the Galactic Code to the present will be revealed! GWF SECRET HISTORY: FEMALE WARRIORS is the first of what may become a series of sets that explore the hitherto unknown facets of the GWF’s glorious past. You’ll see the first-ever female Gladiator who only appeared briefly before Brute and Massacre ended that experiment! Then there’s KESTRAL, the high-flying early Ani-Woman! And let us not forget the mysterious SHADOWESS! There will be 6 cards released as a set along with a short flyer (cover is displayed) and 3 more cards with Promoter Prime. That’s 9 cards total, what excitement! Watch for pre-order info and some specific character teasers in the weeks ahead. And get psyched— GWF SECRET HISTORY will be revealed!

6 cards + 3 Prime. Women who came and went throughout GWF history but didn't last long. Including the actual first female Gladiator. The history buff in me isn’t crazy about this. Thrash has been referred to as the first female Gladiator many times in official GWF history, most recently in her bio found in the Merapis set. I’m not convinced that going back and changing 40 years of official history for a set like this is a good idea.Agreed, this set is....... not for me.

This set does not appeal to me. I don't use the female characters that I currently have and will not use these ones. Thrash, is still the first female gladiator to make a lasting impact. This whole set sounds like characters that did not make any significant contribution.

Would be cool that it was Thrash only really young. But not sure how that might work but I guess you can do anything when you're the writer. I'm curious to read. Continuity isn't a deal breaker for me.

I'm still on the fence about whether or not I'll buy this one. I've only been playing the game for about 18 months and I don't follow canon so re-written history doesn't really bother me.
For me it's going to come down to the card stats. If these women are just enhancement talent for the main roster I will definitely pass. If they can be at least somewhat competitive in matches then I'll likely pick it up.

Wasent really stoked on an all female set... As I don't use the female cards... But I like the idea of the secret history concept... Like if going fwd its not all women... And like someone else just said the cards are actually competitive. I run my fed like a territory anyway so I have wrestlers in and out all the time.

I personally wouldn’t mind if some of them were enhancement talent, that is something that doesn’t exist all that much on the women’s side of wrestling.
