Hammerstone had evolved drastically from his original Prime card, when he was basically hired muscle for the Dynasty. He has a different look, a different move set (notwithstanding the NIGHTMARE PENDULUM), and different physical traits. I completely support the need for an update, but that's just me. Not just you, homie. I'm with you. Oh yeah, and there were 37 people on this board who voted for a Hammerstone update in the Cycle 4 update poll last year so they obviously see the need for a Hammerstone update too. filsingergames.proboards.com/thread/26110/indies-prime-2023-male-update?page=1Hammerstone definitely needs an update. Hammerstone's original card is very representative of him at the time it was released in 2019 when he was the first-ever MLW National Openweight Champion but since then he went on to hold the MLW World Heavyweight Championship for 2 1/2 years (only Jacob Fatu has a longer reign and most of Fatu's reign was during the pandemic when MLW was inactive.) |

According to the Store, Indies Prime will feature one of the runner-ups to the last FG Indies poll. If that literally means the first runner-up, then Hammerstone, the Invisible Man, or Allie Kat will have a Prime card. Allie desperately needs an update |

We attempted to get Alec Price for last year's Best of the Indies, but negotiations took awhile and we finally reached a deal in Las Vegas during Double or Nothing weekend last May.
I am really glad we were able to get Alec Price in the game. I have enjoyed talking to Alec at some GCW shows over the past year and at GCW he helped me confirm some of the offense on the back of his card.
Alec Price has held a number of titles including recently the IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship so I am definitley going to have him make some VWTV appearances as well as some VCW appearances in my VIU Indie universe. I will of course mostly use Alec Price as a singles competitor but sometimes team him up with Cole Raddick as the Gahbage Daddies.

Since Hammerstone is in the "news" right now after signing with TNA, I would think it has to be him. Allie Katch I would think comes out with a women''s set (even though, like many current wrestlers, she wrestles against any gender), and the Invisible Man would...I mean, maybe for an April Fool's release, but even then... |

That would be awesome I have met Marcus Mathers before when he was here in Las Vegas for a Double or Nothing weekend. I of course can't say whether he said yes or no, but I did ask him if he wanted to be in the game. |

Yes!! We are finally able to get a card for Price. Great work Zeke and others!! This set has a superb mix. Pre-ordered and now just to wait for it to get released!!

Part of the goal of the Best of the Indies sets is not always to have guys that everyone has heard of. But instead have guys and gals everyone will know in a couple years. absolutely! This set has many wrestlers in their 20s (Alec Price, Man Like DeReiss, Francesco Akira) or even younger (Leon Slater) and one of the last two names in this set (who has not been guessed yet) is in his early 20s. |
