This is the name I've been waiting for! He is one of my favorites on the Indies and I have known he's been signed for a couple years. (Hence he was part of every prediction list I've made) Such a great wrestler with a unique look. Glad we get him before his career is over.

I am really pleased we are getting Makabe in his final year in the ring. He's had some superb trips to Europe in recent years, particularly some superb matches in WXW in Germany. He also has a match with Zack Sabre Jr coming up soon for Prestige, which I cannot wait to see!

Great to get Makabe in the game. Since him and I were both born in Surrey, British Columbia I'll be rooting for him in every one of his matches I roll out.

Daniel Makabe previously almost got released a couple of times (it is just very competitive to get an Indie card released) as he got replaced at the last minute by somebody in a previous Best of set and he was also the runner-up in a 2022 poll on this board. But with Makabe having announced 2024 would be his last year in the ring, we definitely wanted to make sure to include him in this year's Best of set.

2 of the most requested names with price and makabe. Fitting with this being his final year. Personally this may be my favourite set with those guys, Slater and MLD. Absolutely fantastic

Not a huge name, but a fun wrestler that can fit into a few spots in people's indie feds. , funnily enough, Alec Price and the remaining name are the two names that I am most excited to get into my Indies fed. Granted, it's not the excitement I'd have for Alex Taylor - third member of the Southern 6 - or even guys from IPW that we don't have yet (I see you Chilleo, Shank, and Ethan Everhart) - but the final name is absolutely a guy that I am going to push TO THE MOON no matter (or Antimatter) the stats are! |
