My guess is there was another factor that kept them from doing it. Perhaps another event in Vegas that weekend. Maybe Zeke's birthday and they knew they could not compete with that. Perhaps The Rock or someone else they might want at WM already had a commitment the previous week.

WWE in the past has always avoided Easter weekend, but its not the case this year. Avoiding the Final 4 is much more important now I guess. Not sure why they didnt go a week earlier to avoid both. for some reason, Wrestlemania was actually rumored for here on the first weekend in May next year prior to being announced for mid-April. So I guess AEW is going to bring Supercard of Honor to Las Vegas next April and then bring Double or Nothing to Las Vegas next May.

Perhaps I have been looking at this all wrong. Maybe they did not end up on Easter weekend to avoid something the week before but because they wanted to be on that weekend. Perhaps we are going to get the match of a lifetime we have all been waiting for. I mean what better place than Las Vegas to have it. The match of the century. Hell, the match of the millennium. It looks like it is finally going to happen.

What I am hearing locally is that Las Vegas actually requested Easter weekend as it is usually otherwise a slow weekend for tourism here.

The tickets for Wrestlemania 41 go on sale next Friday October 25th (wen I will be at California Adventures in Anaheim) with the Presale starting next Wednesday October 23rd.
However, my friend's family are Raiders season tickets holders so he has the option to buy tickets on Tuesday and he has offered to buy our tickets on Tuesday and I will pay him back for my tickets when I get home from work on Tuesday night.
I plan to spend a little extra on tickets this year as I obviously do not have to pay for flights and a hotel etc as Wrestlemania will be here in my hometown of Las Vegas.

Not that I could even afford going (two teenagers will do that to you, haha), but looked at ticket prices today just for shits and giggles and OMFG you've gotta be out of your mind!!! I understand supply and demand and it will sell out no matter what but that's mind boggling!

Yeah, we got our tickets early (on Tuesday as my friend’s family are Raiders season ticket holders) but seats in our section are now selling for over twice what we paid just a few days ago. This is my one and only big ticket purchase every year.
