Completed the semifinals and finals of my NWA World Title tournament last night. No carry over on fatigue tokens from match to match. Roll for initiative if tied I keep rolling, whoever wins initiative starts on L2O or L3O depending on how many rolls it took.
All that said, I had some pretty long matches in the semis with Thesz beating Hutton via a Thesz press and Tully scoring a pinfall over Bobo Brazil. At this point I'm thinking Tully is going to complete this Cinderella run to the NWA World Title. Rolls for initiative in the finals led to Thesz starting the match at L3O. First roll - GRECO ROMAN BACKDROP (+2) - target is 8 with the +2, roll is a 7. Match over. One roll match. I feel like I let the fans down in this one. Tully's carriage turned into a pumpkin right as the bell rang lol.

Yeah the carrying fatigue over can really bite you in the butt for a finals.

I usually roll on the Gary Michael Cappetta chart if I have it handy and remember to do it instead of rerolling. I'm going to give your way a shot and see how I like it.

For myself I do this
If you roll 11-12 and your opponent rolls 4 or less, you roll on level 3 offense If you roll a difference more than 5 but not an 11 or 12, you roll on level 2 offense.

Alternate ways to resolve initiative ties would be a cool thing to put in the next ringside companion.

You said fatigue didn't carry over. How was Tully's pin so high at the start?

You said fatigue didn't carry over. How was Tully's pin so high at the start? His card is a 6(3), I didn't do advanced on the matches b/c I was rolling the rest of the tournament just to establish a champion. If it was an actual match card I would have used the advanced PIN. So, starting at 6 and with Thesz starting on L3O, he hits the GRECO ROMAN BACKDROP (+2) making the target an 8, roll of 7...ding, ding, ding and match was over. So quick. Kind of a flat title match, but I was really just running the tournament with basic PIN and no fatigue so I can establish a "touring champion" for my new fed.

I actually got the idea from throwingtoasters when I watch his Solo Promoter channel on Youtube, so I can't take credit for it.

You can play anyway you want, but if you weren’t playing advanced rules, you, technically, shouldn’t add the +2

I'll make that change for sure b/c I had no clue about it lol.
