@ Tim: with as many nuts running around today, a guy with cat ears seems tame, but to expound:
You said he looked to have special needs, so this isn’t shocking. I work with special Olympics, and while our players are high functioning, there are many that aren’t as higher. I see them wearing strange things like character socks, etc. I look at it as a comfort thing with them.

I started listening to this episode earlier today.
I heard Chad say he started watching Mid Atlantic in 1986. In 1986, I actually started watching the NWA on TBS in February 1986 (I had started watching the WWF in 1985) and I remember the first NWA match I saw involved Jimmy Garvin (accompanied by Precious) vs somebody I don't remember. I was immediately impressed with Ric Flair and the other Four Horsemen including Ole Anderson.
Tonight, from Crowbar Press, I ordered Ole Anderson's Inside Out book that Chad mentioned on this podcast. I look forward to reading it.

Ole memory was his involvement in Halloween Havoc 89.
T-Bolt bonus memory was that "If you move" promo.
Always fun to look at old results and wonder what the heck you were thinking back then.

I only started watching Ole when the Horsemen were formed...and loved the reference about Sting "never being a Horseman". It is always fun looking back at older results...it seems like always going "wtf, was I thinking?"  |
