After being released (as was expected) by the Denver Broncos today, where do you think Russell Wilson will play next year?

I'll go with the Falcons. They need a QB and based on their position in the Draft probably won't be able to get one of the top prospects. What have they got to lose?

The Falcons are a good pick, for the same reasons I also think the Raiders are a possibility (and Russell did have the Raiders on his list when he demanded a trade from the Seahawks.) I also think the Steelers are a strong possibility as are the Vikings and Buccaneers if they do not resign their starting QBs who are currently free agents.

All those teams would make a lot of sense too. I could see the Steelers making a big push to try and get him. It's remarkable that Mike Tomlin got them to the playoffs this past season with such mediocre QB play. Imagine how much better they could be with Wilson under center. But then again people said the same thing about him with the Broncos and we all saw how that turned out.

As a lifelong Broncos fan, I don't care where Wilson goes...just as long as he is gone. His play the past two years was truly dreadful.

My guess is Atlanta. If Bill was still coach of New England I would have picked there. I feel they are gonna go for someone younger. Same for Pittsburgh, Minnesota and Tennessee. Tampa is keeping Baker. Pretty much a done deal once they resigned Evans. I could see Raiders if he has a stronger arm. The Giants or Bears are a possibility. I see the Bears if they draft a QB and use Wilson as a bridge and let the rookie sit a year or two.

Tampa Bay today resigned Mayfield so Wilson is not going there.

I am thinking he might very well go to Pittsburgh.

Called it. I got to say though that the contract is a bit crazy to me. Three years for $100 million. Now it is not all guaranteed so it could end up being less but with incentives it could be higher. He is better than some critiques say but I am not sure he is THAT good. QB salaries are getting a bit out of hand. I mean there is a salary cap. With no cap or even a soft cap then it is not as big a deal.
