I've said it a few times to other promoters - these two Indies sets (Cycle 1 and Cycle 2) are probably the best "Best Of" sets since the Best of U.K. came out. I think, if you asked Vegas , the Best of The Indies Tag Team set might be the best one released of the three - which is saying something as the other two were very strong! Vegas did a fantastic job picking these guys, without a doubt! |

I talked to somebody about their moves this morning on Facebook who is one of the talents being featured in Promoter Prime Cycle 2 which as previously mentioned is thematically tied to this set's tag team theme. I saw the tag team name guesses here and those are some great tag teams (those making the suggestions absolutely know what they are talking about) and some of them are indeed signed and at least one of them may indeed be in this set. However, there is at least 1 tag team in this set who nobody has guessed so far. Again, as I said at last weekend's online con, this is a stacked set. I got to pick all 11 names (the 8 in the set and the 3 in Indies Promoter Prime) and I really hope you guys enjoy these upcoming cards! I'm sure whoever you chose will we great. I don't follow modern wrestling so I'm unfamiliar with most of the names in the Indie sets but this game is a fun way to learn about them. |

SAnitY defend the Progress tag titles at DEFY tonight, against another team in the game, Midnight Heat!  and this Defy show from last weekend is avaialble for FREE on You Tube, the iron man match between Joey Janela and Nick Wayne had one hell of an ending also, regarding this set, today I saw the color card art for the headliners and IMO they look great! I know tonight is not an Indie announcement as SAnitY was last week's board announcement, perhaps a LOW name is getting announced tonight (not sure other than I know the next Indie announcement is not tonight.) |

Doesn't look like we're getting an announcement of any sort. Puzzling. yeah, I was wondering about a possible announcement for LOW tonight too but J correctly pointed out that SAnitY was just announced two days ago and I don't think the LOW and Indie brands have same week announcements until June. I sort of lost lost track because at work this has actually been the most hectic week of my life as we are closing out the school year AND doing AP testing and this is the first-time ever AP testing has coincided with the last week of school. As a result, I have only averaged about 4 hours of sleep since Sunday (but I will sleep well tonight.) But the good news is I have alot of excited 10th graders in my AP World History class who are confident they did well on this week's AP test and good test scores definitely help me out at work. I have taught AP for 11 years in multiple subjects and I am accustomed to my classes doing well on the AP exams, but this year's class may have set a type of new record based on their overly confident responses. I can't wait to see their test scores in July! |
