Here's hoping Chief Star Jumper is in a future Secret History set. Great episode! We can only dream of that day!

Here's hoping Chief Star Jumper is in a future Secret History set. Great episode! With all due respect, we do NOT need this. 🤣🤣

We can only dream of that day! What if he formed a tag team with the Fabulous Clam? I don't know this could be a fun addition to FTR w/ the Chief and Deputy Roscoe

I am behind on listening...my normal Friday routine of listening while I telework had a quirk thrown in, so I still haven't finished listening to the episode...BUT I did want to chime in that this was another GREAT Episode (what I have listened to so far) AND that I actually remember mailing the "first mainland Europe" Promoter back in the day. Since I was stationed in Germany at the time I thought it would be cool to share results with him...I do remember mailing him a couple of times, but after I got reassigned to Alaska, we stopped mailing each other.
When I heard his name, I said I myself "I remember him mailing him!" and I also remember it was darn expensive to mail him stuff through the Bundespost, but it was way easier to mail him on the local economy than through the US Military Postal Service.
Great Memories every time the UT covers an edition of the Club Galactica SuperReport.

All right, who wants to speculate on what two names Chad signed at the St. Louis Fanfest? Paul Roma & Downtown Bruno Roma was a no-show, as were a really good number of the advertised guests. Still was a fantastic time in St. Louis!

Oh PETER, there's so much more about you to come in the ep. AND, yep...that's what I get for posting before listening to the entire espisode... So, during that time in the 1990s, TRUST ME, I was not Uncle Moneybags...BUT the military monetary compensation was meeting my needs according to Maslow's Hierarchy. I mean I was living in a the barracks and eating in the chow hall, so my pay pretty much went to my stereo, CDs, alcohol, and smokes! A $50 donation to "Get Chuck to GalactiCon" didn't hurt the checkbook too much...maybe I bummed smokes for a few weeks (but back then we were paying $1 for a pack...yes $1 a pack, so I was likely okay on that front and dosnt have to bum to many smokes) and was likely the recipient of free beers from the dormmates fridges once my fridge was empty...but yeah that $50 donation probably didnt put too much of a dent in the financial status and it was WELL worth it! (Because I really, Really, REALLY, thought Chuck going would be cool for everyone going and for Chuck himself to see how he impacted the community!) As for my current situation, well, close to 31 years amd reting as a Lt Col definitely helps. I always told Lori that the retirement pay would be enough to cover the mortgage, but we might be eating hotdogs and mac & cheese on the daily! Fortunately, the post retirement employment has allowed us to eat a little better than hotdogs and mac & cheese. BTW...the thought has crossed my mind that I should swing by West Virginia (it's not too far out of the way from my part of Maryland) on my way to Jamestown and kidnap Mark so that he can enjoy GalactiCon weekend with the rest of us!!! Oh yeah, and when I called Chad and said "it's me" it's likely because I was calling from a payphone using a calling card that had limited minutes and I didn't want to waste those minutes with unnecessary niceties and pleasantries! I mean, come on, it's me & everyone knows "me"!
